🐾 A lovely visit to Kings Park Care Home - Barchester Healthcare with Umber, my wonderful Helpful Hounds Community Dogs dog. 🐶

Umber spent time wandering around the home, saying hello to residents and doing what she does best, bringing smiles, comfort and plenty of opportunities for cuddles and fuss!

There is something so special about the way dogs connect with people. A gentle stroke can lead to a conversation, bring back a memory of a much-loved family dog or simply create a beautiful moment of companionship.

Umber takes it all in her stride and seems to know exactly who needs a little extra time and attention. ❤️

Thank you to the wonderful team at Kings Park for welcoming us and allowing Umber to do her very important work.

Helpful Hounds really do bring a little extra happiness wherever they go. 🐾✨

🎶 Another wonderful session at Kings Park Care Home - Barchester Healthcare a beautiful Barchester home.

Residents came together for our Peaceful Pathways Movement, Music & Massage Session, with plenty of movement, music, laughter and connection.

We explored rhythm and percussion, moved along to the music and enjoyed being playful together. It's always lovely to see residents encouraging each other and getting involved in their own way.

After all the fun and energy, we slowed things down with relaxing massage, creating a peaceful end to the session.

Another lovely afternoon of movement, music, connection and wellbeing. 🌿✨

💚🎶 Another beautiful session at Whitecliffe House Care Home today.

I've been visiting this wonderful home for around three years now, and it has become such a special part of my week. It's always a joy to spend time with the ladies and gents here, sharing music, movement, laughter and meaningful moments together.

Over the years we've built so many lovely connections, and it's a privilege to see familiar faces, hear their stories and watch friendships continue to grow within the group.

Thank you to everyone at Whitecliffe House for always making me feel so welcome. I truly love spending time with you all. 💚

🎶🌿 What a lovely Movement, Music & Massage session at Merceode Lodge Care Home this week.

The resident group is continuing to grow, and it was wonderful to see such a great turnout. The room was filled with laughter, smiles and plenty of participation as everyone joined in with the movement and music.

The movement flowed beautifully, with residents moving at their own pace and enjoying being part of the group. There was a lovely sense of connection and community throughout the session.

We finished with relaxing massages and beautiful scents, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere for everyone to unwind and enjoy a moment of wellbeing.

A wonderful session from start to finish. 💚✨

🎶🌿 We had a wonderful Peaceful Pathways Movement, Music & Massage session on Floor 2 at Kings Park Care Home - Barchester Healthcare , with residents joining us from across the home to move, groove, play instruments and relax together. 💚

It was lovely to see such a mix of people coming together, sharing laughter, music and conversation. Residents enjoyed exploring some of my instruments from around the world, each one sparking curiosity, memories and stories.

As we chatted about the different countries the instruments came from, the conversation naturally turned to travel. We shared memories of adventures near and far and all agreed that travelling has a wonderful way of expanding the mind and opening us up to new experiences.

After all the music and movement, we gently slowed down and relaxed, bringing a peaceful end to a joyful session.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a special afternoon. ✨

🎶💚 It was so lovely to be back at Avon Reach Care Home for a Peaceful Pathways Movement, Music & Massage session after a few months away.

What a fantastic session it was! The room was filled with laughter, joy and so much enthusiasm from the residents. From gentle movement and music to playing instruments and sharing stories, everyone threw themselves into the session and helped create a wonderful atmosphere.

These sessions are always about more than the activities themselves, they're about connection, community and creating moments of happiness together.

I've really missed visiting Avon Reach, and it was such a pleasure to reconnect with residents and staff once again.

Thank you for such a warm welcome. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! 💚✨

🐾💚 We enjoyed a lovely visit to Merceode Lodge Care Home with my two dogs this week.

The connection between people and dogs is really special, and honestly, nothing beats a good dog cuddle! 🐶❤️

Residents enjoyed spending time with the girls, sharing strokes, smiles and gentle moments of companionship. Mercedoe Lodge is growing into such a beautiful, vibrant home, so although we weren't able to spend as long with everyone as we would have liked, we did make sure to visit and connect with each resident.

Thank you to everyone at Mercedoe Lodge for another warm welcome. We can't wait to visit again soon. 🐾✨

👑🎶 A Slightly Unexpected Afternoon in Blandford Forum 🎶👑

Today I was at Whitecliffe House for a one-to-one session and a mini Movement, Music & Massage group session.

The home was a little quieter than usual as many of the residents had headed out to see King Charles during his visit to the beautifully restored Corn Exchange in Blandford Forum.

After my session, I had a couple of hours between appointments and, hearing the church bells ringing, decided to wander down and see what all the excitement was about.

It was certainly a warm day, but thankfully one side of the road was in the shade! While I'm not particularly a royalist, I appreciated King Charles' connection to the land, traditional crafts and environmental causes.

After waiting with the crowds, I can proudly say... I saw the back of his head! 😆👑 Spot the king

☀️🎶 I realised I forgot to share about last week's Movement, Music & Massage session at Colbury House Nursing Home !

It was one of those very hot summer days, but that didn't stop the residents from joining in and making the most of the session. They did amazingly, embracing the movement, music and activities with enthusiasm and good humour throughout.

A special thank you to the wonderful staff, who kept everyone going by bringing out ice lollies halfway through the session. 🍦💚 They were very much appreciated and certainly helped keep us all cool!

Despite the heat, the room was filled with smiles, laughter and connection, reminding us that a little music and movement can brighten any day.

🎶🌿 We had a fantastic Movement, Music & Massage session at Great Oaks Care Home Bournemouth earlier this week, filled with happiness, laughter and plenty of participation.

Residents embraced the music and movement, and when it came to creating rhythms together, some of them absolutely smashed it! 🥁✨ The room was full of energy, smiles and a wonderful sense of community.

After all the fun, we gently slowed things down with relaxing hand massages while I played peaceful music on the lyre.

One of my favourite sights was seeing those relaxed, sleepy faces appear as everyone settled into a moment of calm and tranquillity. 💚

From uplifting rhythms to deep relaxation, it was a beautiful session from start to finish.
