Just BE Sound and Movement Therapy is run by Alison Heaslewood who has received training in Sound and Movement Therapy from the British Academy of Sound Therapy. With five years vocal training she enjoys bringing soothing vocals into her sound sessions along with other percussion. She creates nurturing and relaxing spaces

for anyone seeking out a space to Just BE. Alison also co-hosts Mantra Meditations and retreats with Monica from Luna Sound and Energy, under their joint name The Berkshire Sound Therapists. Following a five year episode of chronic pain in her twenties and a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, Alison turned to alternative methods of healing, including Sound Therapy. Along with sound, movement was instrumental in her full recovery and as well as offering sound journeys, she holds separate sessions to weave sound and movement together.

I’ve posted before about my connection to dragon energy, so it was no surprise that I stumbled across DJ training with the amazing Dragon, whilst planning my trip to Costa Rica in 2025.
I’ll be on the dancefloor both these events as he takes over Ecstatic Dance Berkshire for the weekend! You can then catch him with .uk before he heads to Europe

Adrián Yozéf aka YoZéF Dragon is a Costa Rican embodiment facilitator, ceremonial DJ, and multidimensional artist with over 13 years of experience guiding transformative experiences through movement, ritual, and sound. Rooted in the Ecstatic Dance and Yoga tradition yet fiercely original, his offerings blend somatic inquiry, blindfolded journeys, elemental embodiment, and a ceremonial approach to dance that inspires people to feel safe when awakening the raw intelligence of the body and the spirit within. He has studied Hatha, Raja, Ashtanga and Kundalini Yoga which has led him to understand the energetic body in his personal movement practice spanning 14 years. He has also practiced other movement disciplines such as Tai Chi, Chi Kung, Contact Dance, Contemporary Dance and has received a certified immersion in Dance Therapy. As a facilitator, he is known by the intentional use of his voice - soothing, evocative, and rhythmically attune - to naturally and effortlessly create safe, light-spirited, and fun containers for participants to explore the mysteries of the body, heal through presence, and reclaim their full expressive aliveness. Inviting to move from a place of authenticity and embodied freedom.
