Feeling anxious about birth? You’re not alone.

In fact, it’s one of the most common things I hear from pregnant women.

Maybe you’ve heard the horror stories.

Maybe you’re trying not to think about labour because it feels overwhelming.

Maybe every conversation about birth leaves you with more questions than answers.

It doesn’t have to stay that way.

One of the things I love most about Keri’s review is the transformation she describes. Not because all her fears magically disappeared, but because she went from not wanting to think about birth at all to looking forward to learning more and creating a birth plan.

That’s what good birth preparation can do.

Not promise a perfect birth.

Not remove every worry.

This is for the mums.

All of you who have overcome the anxiety, booked the class, knocked on the door and stepped inside.

Who have been completely honest, supported each other, shown compassion and kindness, been vulnerable and said “me too”.

I will keep going, keep pushing, to hold space for you. Without judgment, competition, cliques (and definitely no singing).

Just friendly faces and a hot cuppa, even on the days when you really didn’t want to leave the house.

Thank you for trusting me to be the one to hold you while you hold your baby.

BIG NEWS!

I started A Mother World 3.5 years ago because I wanted to help others, especially mums, to feel truly supported.

I’ve created classes that feel different to anything else out there, with a focus on empowering, educating and supporting parents.

And now I’m so excited to say I’m pushing my business forward to make more changes in this world!

I’ve been selected to join the CatalyseHer programme, supported by Visa Foundation and INCO.

It’s a programme designed to help female founders grow businesses that make a real impact….what an amazing step!

No more making it up as I go along. I’ll be learning, growing, connecting with other female business owners and finally really backing myself and my business properly.

I know this world makes a difference and I am so excited for what’s to come! Thank you all for being here.
