If you’ve been curious about a sound bath but weren’t sure what you’d be walking into, this one’s for you.

Every sound bath is different. My sessions at The Canopy focus on deep rest, a chance to slow down and, above all, no pressure.

Whether you’ve done sound healing or meditation before or you’ve never been, everyone is welcome. It’s simply a time set aside for you to rest and listen. The sound healing instruments do a lot of the work, so you don’t have to try to relax. It just tends to happen ✨

If your Monday got off to a stressful start, maybe this is your sign to plan ahead. Set some time aside for yourself this Sunday, have a proper rest, and ease into next week feeling a bit lighter.

This will be my second Sunday session at The Canopy, and I’m really looking forward to it. The first one was such a lovely evening, and Sundays feel like the perfect time for it.

Sunday, 5:30pm, East Park Gym.
Book your space through the link in my bio. I’d love to see you there.

Any questions please drop me a message 😊

Maybe “hate” is a strong word🙃 but these are three things I’d really love to see change in the sound healing world.

I love this work. I’ve experienced how powerful it can be, and I’ve spent years learning, practising and sharing it with others.

I also think we can love something and still question things around it.

For me, spirituality doesn’t have an aesthetic.
Integrity matters.
And I don’t believe we need to make huge promises about how someone should feel for an experience to be worthwhile.

There is no right way to experience sound.

You might feel deeply relaxed. You might feel emotional. You might have a busy mind. You might simply lie down and listen to some beautiful sounds for an hour.

It all gets to count.

I want this work to feel grounded, accessible and human — with no pressure to have some kind of performative enlightenment at every session.

I’d love to know, is there anything you’d add to the list?

Listening.

You’re already doing it all day, every day. Sound meditation simply starts with doing it intentionally — bringing your attention to what you can hear and noticing when your mind wanders away.

No need to clear your mind. No need for complete silence. And you don’t need any special equipment to start.

I’ve put together a free Beginner’s Guide to Sound Meditation with simple ways to explore it using listening, humming and the sounds already around you.

I didn’t really understand what meditation was when I first started.

All I knew was that every time I tried, I just felt like I’d failed. My mind wouldn’t switch off, sitting in silence felt impossible, and I couldn’t seem to experience all these benefits everyone else was talking about.

It took me a long time to realise I wasn’t bad at meditation. I just hadn’t found a way into it that worked for me.

And that way was sound ✨

If you have a very full life, you’re an overthinker, your mind moves at a million miles an hour, or you’re neurodivergent, traditional ideas of meditation might not feel particularly accessible to you.

But there are so many ways to meditate.

Sound gives your attention something to come back to. You can listen. You can hum. You can use the sounds already happening around you. And you can start with just a few minutes.

That’s why I created my free Beginner’s Guide to Sound Meditation — to give you a simple, pressure-free place to start and explore meditation in a way that might feel more natural to you.

Meditation has become such an important part of my life, and I’d love more people to discover that it doesn’t have to look the way they thought it did.

If the idea of sitting quietly with your thoughts sounds somewhere between impossible and actual hell, hear me out 😂

Meditation doesn’t have to mean sitting cross-legged in silence trying desperately not to think.

It can be listening to a piece of music properly. Noticing the sounds around you while you walk. Humming and feeling the vibration in your body. Giving your attention somewhere to land for a few minutes instead of being pulled in twelve directions at once.

That’s why I love sound as a way into meditation. It makes something that can feel quite abstract feel much more tangible.

And you might already be doing things that are much closer to meditation than you realise.

I’ve made a free Beginner’s Guide to Sound Meditation with three really simple ways to try it — no previous interest in meditation required 🥸

Meet your Sunday Slowdown team.

For this mini retreat, we’re bringing together three practices that complement each other beautifully — breathwork, sound and sauna — for an afternoon designed to give you the time and space to properly slow down.

You’ll be guided through breathwork with Charlotte, settle in for a sound bath with Lamorna, and spend time in the sauna with Lucy, with the option of a cold plunge if you fancy it.

But this mini retreat isn’t about rushing from one thing to the next. There’ll be plenty of space to simply be - get outside, have a cup of tea, chat to other people or find a quiet spot for yourself.

No experience needed. Just come as you are and give yourself an afternoon away from the usual noise of life.
