I’ve been quiet here for a while.
Not intentionally, really.
Life has simply been asking me to be somewhere else.
This summer has been one of creating, flourishing, dissolving… and beginning again.
Lean in Nature.
Buddhafields.
Rumble.
A little space for myself at Emerging Hearts.
Arriving on empty land and watching something come alive. Building from the ground up. Giving my energy and my heart. Sharing practice with the beautiful beings who arrive. Watching community form, flourish, dance, love, struggle, open…
And then taking it all down again.
Creation and dissolution.
Again and again.
And somewhere amongst all of that, I realised that this has been my practice all summer.
Coming home.
Coming back into my body.
Back to my heart.
Back to the earth beneath my feet.
Back to what is actually here.
Because I lose myself too.
My energy comes up and out. I get swept into the doing, the urgency, the responsibility, the noise. Sometimes a little. Sometimes a lot.
It is hard to stay regulated in a dysregulated world.
It is hard to remain anchored amongst so much change, anxiety, fear, speed and urgency.
And yes… I have been caught in the whirlwind many times.
But perhaps the practice was never about not getting swept away.
Perhaps the practice is simply noticing.
And returning.
Again.
And again.
And again.
Each time I come back to myself, that pathway home feels a little stronger. The remembering comes a little sooner.
Right here, right now, I find myself in a moment of pause.
About to embark on my biggest challenge of the summer yet — the biggest festival I am involved in.
And perhaps everything until now has been preparing me for what comes next.
Or perhaps not.
All I can really do is be me.
Be here.
Be now.
This morning I opened my book, and these words from Osho were simply there:
“Truth is always here. It is already the case. It is not something to be achieved in the future. You are the truth just here + NOW.”
And something in me softened.
Thank you, life.
For the synchronicities.
For the reminders.
For this body.
For the earth.
For the space to listen.
And for the practice of returning home. ❤️
