Wow. Over 300 followers on Facebook and 230 on Instagram!! 🥳🎉

We know in the world of social media these numbers might seem small to some, but to us they represent something much bigger to our little family..

Every follow is a real person. Someone who has connected in some way with what we’re creating here at the yurt.

Someone who believes in slowing down, gathering around the fire 🔥 making space for healing, rest and connection ❤️

When we first started Anama Village, we weren’t thinking about followers. We were simply following our own feeling. A dream of creating an intimate place where people could come as they are, take a breath, and feel held by nature, community and something much bigger than us 🪄

There have been rainy days, windy days 🤪 … moments where we’ve wondered if anyone would come!!
Days where the yurt has been overflowing with laughter, stories and connection and days we’ve been biting our nails anxious about how to raise more income just to keep it all going.

You’ve been here cheering us on…

We’re genuinely in awe of the community that is growing around this little canvas yurt on the moor🌿

Some days the moor reminds us exactly why we chose this place (or maybe grateful that it chose us)! ✨

Wide open skies, the wind moving through the grass, and this week… a rainbow bursting out of Baildon Moor.

The yurt sits here quietly amongst it all, tucked away offering a space to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself and nature.

Whether you’re joining us for yoga, sound, reiki, ceremony, or simply spending time in this beautiful corner of Yorkshire, we’re grateful to call this place home.

If you’ve been needing a reason to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with spirit.. We’ve got a beautiful week lined up inside the yurt, and we’d love for you to join us!

Why not treat yourself to one of our divine one to one sessions if you’re looking for some dedicated, deep-dive support or just time for YOU 💫

For group vibes, we’re melting away stress with a deeply chill sound bath and some seriously cosy Restorative yoga to help your nervous system take a breath.

We’re also gathering in community for our sacred circles and grounding right back into the land with some beautiful Earth-based practices to help you connect back to spirit.

✨ Reiki Level One Training (2nd edition💥)! ✨

After our last Reiki Level One sold out, we’re delighted to announce the next opportunity to join us for this beautiful two-day experience is NOW LIVE to book - with half the spaces already gone! 🤭

Held in our cosy yurt, surrounded by nature and the occasional wandering peacock 🦚 this is much more than a training.
It’s part Reiki course, part retreat… an invitation to slow down, reconnect and immerse yourself in a weekend of healing, learning and community.

Over two spacious days, you’ll receive your Reiki Level One attunement and learn how to work with Reiki as a tool for self-healing, balance and wellbeing. We’ll explore energy, intuition, grounding practices and the foundations of Reiki in a supportive and intimate small-group setting.

There will be time to rest by the fire, wander the land, share nourishing food together and connect with like-hearted people.

For those travelling from further afield, or anyone wishing to fully embrace the retreat experience, there is also the option to stay overnight nearby (message for more details).

This training is perfect for anyone curious about energy work, seeking a deeper connection with themselves, or feeling called to begin a healing journey.

We couldn’t have wished for a more wonderful group of people to share this journey with 🥰

This weekend was one to remember.. full of exploring energy work, laughter, taking time to rest and be with nature.

We feel incredibly grateful to be able to share this work in our yurt, holding space for people to explore Reiki and reconnect with themselves and each other.

Due to a cancellation, there is now one place available to join us this weekend.

We’re offering it at an introductory price of just £111 before future trainings increase in price.

We’ll be gathering in a small, intimate group in the cosy yurt, allowing plenty of space for questions, personal support and a deeply nurturing experience. You’ll also receive ongoing support after the training as you begin integrating Reiki into your daily life.

Good morning everyone! 🌿

If you’re feeling a bit swept up in the busyness of the week, this is your gentle reminder to take a deep breath…

Tomorrow morning, we’re gathering inside the warmth of the yurt to drop into something deeper, simpler, closer to the earth.

EARTH SOUND JOURNEY
This 75-minute experience is all about listening. We’ll start on the earth, getting into our bodies with some gentle movement and breath, before letting the steady, primal beat of the shamanic drum guide us.

It’s a cosy space to listen inwardly, and see what insights or waking dreams want to drift up to the surface when you give yourself permission to just be.

What we’ll be sharing:

🌱 A little gentle movement to feel into our bodies
🌬️ Simple breath awareness to settle the mind
🌒 Shamanic drumming for deep inner journeying
✨ Overtone singing to open up space for dreaming and rest
💫A warm cup of herbal tea together at the end to help us integrate

If your soul is craving a bit of quiet medicine, a chance to dream, or just a really deep rest, we would love to welcome you.

When: Thursday, June 4th at 9:30 AM (and every week after that)
