We can plant a big old boy right on your body bits and get him finished OR see how many of my designs we can fit in your allocated time.

It’s last minute and I’d like to fill it so (I HATE saying this) I will give a li’l discount to the lucky one who books in.
•
Full days for MY stuff can range up to £550 and half days £350 here (I’m rapid and I’m experienced).

If you are ill, feeling the start of something nasty coming on, full of cold, been to visit your cousin’s mate’s dad’s drinking buddy to drop him off some f’kin arsenic for the new COVID 25 flu, anything that could be possibly construed as slightly ill and contagious- DO NOT SHOW UP TO YOUR FU***NG TATTOO APPOINTMENT!! Call us and reschedule.

I am SO grateful that I have you all to tattoo and, dya know what, good on ya for really trying to not let us down and push through the pain. I respect it, I really do; but buddy- I’m not your boss. We’re not your employers. You don’t get extra brownie points for showing up. In fact, you’ll end up with the entirety of the tattoo studio secretly wishing you a slow death (off premises, far enough away that we can’t catch anything of course).

Turning up ill will get you unceremoniously kicked out the door in my biohazard boots, fully doused in the type of disinfectant you only see in zombie movies, then I will, without one iota of guilt, pocket your deposit and go spend it down Wetherspoons.

Over this past two and a half weeks I have had flu and some kind of horrific stomach virus (I know-could possibly be food poisoning from a plain cheese sandwich….) that made me empty the entire contents of my digestive system ALL OVER an unfamiliar pub toilet. It wasn’t pretty.

I’m self employed guys. If I get sick I don’t get paid. And right now I haven’t got paid!!!!

So I’m asking you nicely. Think about others when you’re ill. Call and reschedule your appointment.
Your bull-headed stubbornness will not prevent your illness spreading to any of us self employed chumps in the studio.
If you turn up ill to your appointment, your deposit will be forfeit and you will be asked to leave.

“SEND NOODZ” 1 & 2

Way back in 2020 and 2021 I created a project aptly named “SEND NOODZ”.
I invited my followers who identify as female to send me n**e images of themselves after signing a strict waiver form stating my obvious duty of care towards them including that the original pictures were to be kept in a locked album and not to be seen by anyone but myself, I was to delete said pictures after I’d used them and the finished artwork belongs to me. Finally the model could consent as to whether or not they were to be named or remain anonymous.

Above are a select few, beautiful and by no means my favourite pieces- just a handful that I had easy access to.
•
Since I’ve made these pieces I’ve actually tattooed a lot of the subjects who all, thankfully, had beautiful things to say about the images and how they made them feel about their bodies. Points they made included that the parts of their bodies that they’d hated or been ultra self conscious about looked different and beautiful through someone else’s eyes.
•
I’ve been asked MULTIPLE times if this is a project I’d like to revisit and had many folks desperate to volunteer. I would genuinely love to revisit and create “SEND NOODZ 3”.
•
I’m certainly however interested in your thoughts on the surprising feelings it’s stirred up in me and the HEAVY sense of responsibility and guilt I feel towards these pieces. And any unexpected feelings they may have stirred in you?
Body dysmorphia for me has been a constant black cloud over my mental health for as long as I can remember (child and teenager of the 80’s and 90s right!?). I don’t seem to have the tools to view my own body in the way I see others’ bodies. Perhaps this was all a vanity project on my behalf to avoid seeking therapy…. Is that not most art though!??
I’m being silly now….

If you’re considering a walk up at a tattoo convention then you can pick your tattoo from my book of custom designs that I’ll have with with me on the day. If you’d like a specific custom piece you MUST pre-book so I can prepare your artwork.

I call this “A TALE OF TWO SH*TTIES”.

Is it an overshare? Yes. Am I gonna get the buyers remorse and delete it in an hour? Maybe. Is it possibly one of the greatest tales ever to be told? Definitely not, but it’s fairly funny if you’re not me.
I’ve blocked out the name of the pub as it really was nothing to do with them. Although they were unwavering and completely without judgement as they cleaned up my havoc. Claire needs a reward. Or at least a tetanus shot….
I’ll post updates when I visit with my thank you/ I’m sorry gifts….

To my Friday-Saturday clients that I’ve rescheduled - you’re the real heroes in this story. Whether it be food poisoning, norovirus or whatever pesky stomach flu is going around- you definitely did not want to be in my company today or yesterday.

FUN STORY- last night I got food poisoning from a co-op pre-packed cheese sandwich (!) and absolutely RUINED my lovely Mum’s birthday meal.
Also ruined was both cubicles of the ladies toilets in the Stump Cross Inn, Halifax 🫣 (I did my best toilet roll cleanup, notified staff and will be dropping off a token of my apologies ASAP. )
Mamma is however very patient and used to my shenanigans and cleaned me up and packed me off home with my beautiful nurse ♥️ (after I’d bolted out of the cab at a red traffic light to run back down a busy main road into the pub to destroy toilet cubicle #2….)
•

It’s an exceptionally well run and clean studio with a super chill boss lady and pretty OK artists (mainly me. Oh and ).

The studio is really well connected, with easy access from Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield etc AND loads of on free on street parking. There’s loads if cool stuff happening around, especially with Bradford being the city of culture for 2025.
