🌲πŸ₯Ύ Snowdon | Thank You

Thanks to everyone who joined us in North Wales last Saturday for the Snowdon Challenge.

We caught up with Faria Nasir (pictured in the sky-blue hijab) after the event. Here's what she had to say:

"Me and my family have climbed several of the peaks with Imran Khan Cancer Appeal. It's a very noble cause. What better way to spend this dunya and the time Allah (SWT) has given us than by helping those who probably cannot help us back?

"May Allah (SWT) reward everybody for their efforts, especially the IKCA organisers, who do such a fantastic job helping us get up the mountain and back down again.

"May Allah (SWT) help all those who support this tremendous cause. May Allah (SWT) reward us all, Insha’Allah, in this life and in the next."

Jazak Allah Khair, Faria and family!

As a summer of sport kicks off, why not take on one of our outdoor challenges? There's something for every fitness level, with plenty of encouragement (and snacks) from our team along the way.

✨ Looking Back at the Last Six Months | Plymouth Supporters

Thank you to the University of Plymouth Pakistani Society for preparing desserts for Iftar earlier this year to raise awareness and funds for our work with Shaukat Khanum in Pakistan. 🍰🧁πŸͺ

Students raised Β£100 on the day and created a welcoming space for others to break their fast during Ramadan.

Thank you again to all our supporters for a wonderful first half of the year. We're taking a small group to trek Mount Snowdon tomorrow as we continue raising funds to help open Shaukat Khanum Karachi in December. Please make dua for good weather! 🌲πŸ₯Ύ

Jazak Allah Khair and Jummah Mubarak from everyone at Imran Khan Cancer Appeal.

✨ Looking Back at the Last Six Months | Manchester Supporters

Thank you to Dr Sana Ullah for taking part in the Adidas Manchester Marathon earlier this year to raise awareness and funds for our work with Shaukat Khanum in Pakistan. πŸ…πŸ‘ŸπŸŽ½

Here's what he had to say:

"This was my first time raising funds for IKCA. Running is a personal passion of mine, but combining it with fundraising for meaningful causes gives it even greater purpose and keeps me motivated to go further.

"I have been running for many years, though I only started taking part in major running events over the past three years. Since then, I’ve completed several half marathons and charity runs.

"Looking ahead, my goal is to take on some of the world’s most iconic marathons and ultimately earn the six-star medal from Abbott World Marathon Majors".

Dr Sana completed the 26.2 mile route in four hours and raised more than Β£640 to support our work.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

With profound sorrow, we remember the life of Mr. Khalid Usman, President of the Cancer Education Research Foundation (CERF) and a beloved supporter of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre. A chartered accountant, former Markham Councillor, and dedicated philanthropist, Khalid Usman served as a pillar of compassion for our cause for over two decades. His record-breaking fundraising efforts in Canada helped provide free cancer treatment to thousands of patients in Pakistan. He leaves a lasting legacy of service, integrity, and generosity in the Canadian-Pakistani community.

May Allah accept his noble work and grant him the highest ranks in Jannah. Ameen.
