A little piece of her grandparents’ love, kept close forever 🥹🌸

“Sweet Pea” was the affectionate name my client’s grandma and grandad had called her since childhood. To make this tattoo even more personal, we carefully recreated the words using their original handwriting taken from old letters, pairing it with a delicate fine-line sweet pea flower.

We used a mixture of line weights with just a touch of soft shading, so it will heal beautifully while still feeling delicate and understated.

We also positioned it on the front of her forearm, facing towards her, because this piece is for her to see and keep close—not just for everybody else. It will be especially meaningful when it’s visible on her wedding day later this year. 🤍

Such a simple-looking tattoo, but with an entire lifetime of love behind it.

Thinking about laser tattoo removal but not sure where to start? 👀

Here’s a quick, no-waffle introduction to how the process works.

✨ Every client starts with a consultation and patch test
✨ I use a professional Q-switched Nd:YAG laser
✨ The laser breaks the tattoo ink into tiny particles
✨ Your body’s lymphatic system gradually clears these particles
✨ Sessions are spaced at least six weeks apart to allow your skin to heal
✨ Treatment can be used to fade a tattoo for a cover-up or work towards full removal

The number of sessions needed varies depending on the tattoo, including the ink, colour, depth, age and placement.

A delicate birth-flower tattoo with the loveliest hidden detail 🎀✨

My client wanted a feminine floral tattoo to represent her two children, while also including a little J within the design. Rather than adding another separate element, we subtly worked the initial into the bow—so unless you know it’s there, you might not spot it straight away!

We kept the finished tattoo lovely and crisp, with fine black lines and delicate details that will remain visible without making the overall design feel heavy.

I absolutely love how personal this one is 🤍

EPISODE 1: Ask ChatGPT for the RIGHT SIZE 👀

Using ChatGPT for tattoo inspiration can be SO useful — but there’s a knack to getting something actually helpful out of it.

In Episode 1, I’m showing you a prompt you can use to ask ChatGPT for different size options for your tattoo idea. This is particularly handy when you have a design in mind but have absolutely no idea how big it should be!

⚠️ BUT — and this is important: AI is for INSPIRATION, not a tattoo blueprint.

Don’t get your heart set on the exact design ChatGPT gives you. Your tattoo artist will take your ideas, references and inspiration and then use their own experience, artistic style and knowledge of tattooing to create something that actually works on your skin.

Something that looks perfect on a screen might not translate well at a tiny size, may need simplifying, or might need completely reworking to age and heal properly.

Think of ChatGPT as a way to get the ideas out of your head and onto paper — then let your artist do what you’re paying them for. ✨
