Outside. Thinking. Connecting ☀️

Women’s Sphere met in the sunshine today. Great company, fresh air, and time to slow down.

The conversations went deeper than plans. Connection, the same pathway, the same goal - that’s what kept coming up. When you’re aligned on purpose, the next steps start to feel clearer.

The vibe was positively inspiring. Honest thoughts, shared ideas, and space to map out our next exciting step with intention.

Grateful for the great support from experienced services helping us think this through properly. Not rushing. Just building something solid, together.

Lots to consider. Good direction forming 💛

Just got home from the Women’s Enterprises Network event at Participate Projects, Manningham Mills ✨

And wow. My heart is full.

There’s something powerful about being in a room full of women building, dreaming, figuring it out - together. No competition. Just connection.

We shared stories, swapped ideas, and reminded each other that we’re not doing this alone. That “I’m not sure what I’m doing” feeling? We all had it. And we’re all still showing up anyway.

Manningham Mills + Participate Projects = the perfect space for honest conversations. Historic walls, future-focused women.

Lesson I’m taking home: Everything happens for a reason. I was meant to be in that room today. I met exactly who I needed to meet.

Thank you to everyone who organised + showed up. Already looking forward to the next one.

Who else was there? Drop a 💜 below so we can stay connected.

Sometimes the Universe rearranges your whole life... so you can finally live it.

I’ve been in a season of change.

Work shifted. Plans shifted. My own sense of “what’s next” shifted.
And for a moment, it felt like the ground was moving under my feet.

But here’s what I’m learning:
Nothing is falling apart. It’s falling into place.

Every door that closed wasn’t rejection. It was redirection.
Every delay wasn’t denial. It was divine timing.
Every “no” was making space for a bigger “yes” I wasn’t ready for yet.

I’m stepping into a new chapter with Women’s Sphere. New work, new energy, new vibe.
Less forcing. More flowing. Less fear. More faith.
The kind of work that feels aligned in my spirit, not just my schedule.

The truth is: we don’t always understand the change while we’re in it.
But looking back, we see it. Every twist, every pause, every detour... was teaching us, shaping us, preparing us.

Everything happens for a reason.
Even the endings. Especially the endings.
Because sometimes the Universe has to break your plan to give you your purpose.

So if you’re in a season of change right now - breathe.
Trust it. Even when it doesn’t make sense.
What’s leaving couldn’t come with you where you’re going.

New era loading. And I’m ready. 💫
Are you?

Today is International Day of Action for Women’s Health 💚

This isn’t just a date on the calendar. It’s a reminder that millions of women are still fighting to be heard, to be safe, and to have control over their own bodies and wellbeing.

Too often, women’s pain is dismissed. Our health needs are sidelined. Our voices are an afterthought.

But not here. Not anymore.

At Women’s Sphere , we believe every woman deserves:
Care that listens, not rushes
Spaces where she feels safe and seen
The power to make choices about her own body and future

Health isn’t just physical. It’s mental, emotional, social. It’s having the energy to dream, to work, to raise your voice without fear.

Today, we stand with women everywhere who are demanding better. And we commit to building that better, right here in and across .

To every woman reading this:
Your health matters.
Your voice matters. You matter.

Proud to be at today for the Combating Alcohol & Drugs Partnership Celebration Conference 🎤

Great presentations from with Tracy Hogan, , and New Vision Bradford— real examples of the work happening on the ground in our city.

Big thanks for the warm welcome from Craig Blundred, Director of , and to everyone who’s driving this partnership forward.

Today’s about acknowledging the work, the partnerships, and the people who show up every day to support those affected by alcohol and drug use in our community.

Real change happens when we work together – across services, organisations, and lived experience. Grateful to be in the room with so many who care deeply and act consistently to make Bradford safer and healthier.

Today we opened the doors of Baba Jaga House in 🌲

This little house on chicken legs started as a Polish tale of fear. Through Bradford Culture Company and our project The Heritage of Baba Jaga House – Return to the Source of Power, we turned it into a space of healing, quiet, and strength.

It wasn’t an easy path. On Monday we found out the house had been broken into. But this is what we know about women: we don’t give up.
If we have to start from scratch, we will.
If we have to sweep up glass and begin again, we will.
Because the house was never just wood and paint.
The house is us.

Built by the Men’s Shed, transformed by Women’s Sphere, this space is now for everyone. For anyone who needs a moment to pause, breathe, and return to themselves.

Thank you to everyone who came today, and to every woman in Women's Sphere who put her heart into this.

This is what happens when women refuse to let pain have the last word 💜

Today at Bradford.

Attended “Stop Competing for Grants. Start Creating New Income Streams” – sponsored by and led by , MD & Founder.

Founders and leaders from different communities across Yorkshire came together to share experiences, tips, and visions for long-term success.

The focus: building sustainable income, deepening our impact, and strengthening resilience.

This session came at exactly the right time for Women’s Sphere.

For over 3 years we’ve run weekly therapy groups for Eastern European women at Sharing Voices Bradford. Now Sharing Voices is closing. The work can’t stop – and today was about building the models to make sure it doesn’t.

Key takeaways from Raj’s session:

Sustainable income – Moving beyond grant dependency. Practical ways to create earned income so core support stays free and accessible

Deepening impact – Staying rooted in community need while planning for the future

Resilience – Strategy for leading through disruption, not just surviving it

Different sectors, shared challenges. The honesty in the room was the real value.

Thank you , and for investing in grassroots leadership.

This Week, I’ve been thinking about the women I sit with every week.

The ones who come into group carrying so much – pain in their bodies, grief in their language, exhaustion in their bones. The ones who’ve been told to “be strong” for so long they forgot how to ask for help. The ones who finally breathe when they realise they don’t have to explain themselves here.

I’ve learned that mental health isn’t a poster or a hashtag. It’s what happens in the small moments.
It’s the tea poured before anyone speaks.
It’s the nod that says “I know that pain too.”
It’s having a place to fall apart safely, so you can put yourself back together.

For over 3 years, our group of Eastern European women held each other through the unspoken things. Depression that lives behind a brave face. Chronic pain that steals your nights. The loneliness of starting over in a new country. We became each other’s proof that healing happens in community.

Our space at Sharing Voices Bradford is ending, but our work carries on at Women's Sphere. So we poured our hearts into building something new – Baba Jaga House.

It’s not an office. It’s a project. A small wood house we decorated together as Women’s Sphere. A symbol.
In our stories, Baba Jaga’s house stands in the forest. A place of transformation. A place you find when you’re lost. A place where women go to face their truth, and come out changed.

And today, we walked in to find it broken into. Demolished 😢
Every porcelain we made. Every picture we hung. Every piece of hope we put on those walls – smashed.

We were heartbroken. Still are…💔

But this is what we know about women: We don’t give up.
If we have to start from scratch, we will. If we have to sweep up glass and begin again, we will. Because the house was never just wood and paint. The house is us. The house is what happens when women refuse to let pain have the last word.

This Saturday at we’re still gathering. Not to celebrate a perfect house, but to honor a promise. That no matter what gets taken or broken, we rebuild. We come back. We hold space for each other.

If you’ve been searching for your people… if your own life feels demolished right now… if you need proof that you can start again – come sit with us.

This , remember: healing isn’t linear. Some days, it’s just choosing not to quit.
And sometimes, transformation starts in the rubble, with women who say “we do it again.”

To projekt. Symbol.
W naszych opowieściach dom Baby Jagi stoi w lesie. Miejsce transformacji. Miejsce, które znajdujesz, gdy jesteś zagubiona. Miejsce, do którego kobiety idą, by zmierzyć się ze swoją prawdą i wyjść odmienione.

A dziś weszłyśmy i zastałyśmy go włamanym. Zdemolowanym 😢

Dom to my.

Our finally decoration day “Baba Jaga House” at is complete.

This was more than crafts and woodwork. This was transformation.

For weeks, the women of Women's Sphere came to the forest. We sanded, painted, carved, and shared stories. Today we finished. We lit candles. We cleansed the space with white sage. We stood together as the house became whole.

This was the closing ceremony of “Dziedzictwo Baba Jagi – powrót do źródeł mocy”, a transformative journey with Women’s Sphere, reclaiming feminine power and intuition through nature and tradition.

Baba Jaga is not a witch to fear. She is boundaries. She is nature. She is intuition. She is the wild, wise part in every woman that society told us to hide. Today, our women reclaimed her.

The transformation was visible:

From silence to voice → Women who arrived unsure, left speaking their truth and naming their power.

From isolation to circle → We worked as one. Hands covered in paint, hearts open, supporting each other through the process.

From forgetting to remembering → We reconnected with Slavic roots, with folklore, with the knowledge our grandmothers carried. White sage smoke carried our intentions. Candlelight held our stories.

From participants to keepers of tradition→ Each woman received a certificate. Not just for decorating a sculpture. For completing a journey back to her own source of power.

The Baba Jaga House now stands in Hirst Wood. Built by Shipley and James. Decorated by Women’s Sphere. It is community. It is heritage. It is proof that Eastern European culture belongs in Bradford Culture Company

Grand opening day will be confirmed soon. Follow Women’s Sphere and for updates. Come and see what happens when women remember who they are.

Thank you to every woman who trusted the processAlena Gradosova Izabela Andraczek Sikora Zlosnica Migotka

Thank you to , Hirst Wood Nature Reserve and for holding space for this work.

This is what legacy looks like ❤️

Dziś ostatni dzień dekorowania „Domu Baby Jagi” w Rezerwacie Przyrody Hirst Wood dobiegł końca.

To było coś więcej niż prace ręczne i drewno. To była transformacja.

Przez wiele tygodni kobiety z Women’s Sphere przychodziły do lasu. Szlifowałyśmy, malowałyśmy, rzeźbiłyśmy i dzieliłyśmy się historiami. Dziś skończyłyśmy. Zapaliłyśmy świece. Oczyściłyśmy przestrzeń białą szałwią. Stanęłyśmy razem, gdy dom stał się całością.

To była ceremonia zamknięcia „Dziedzictwa Baby Jagi – powrót do źródeł mocy”, transformującej podróży z Women’s Sphere, odzyskiwania kobiecej mocy i intuicji poprzez naturę i tradycję.

Dom Baby Jagi stoi teraz w Hirst Wood.
