Our colleagues at Bradford Association for Visually Impaired People (BAVIP) are holding a travel surgery for people who are visually impaired.

On Tuesday 23 June 2026, between 10am and 3pm, BAVIP are joining with West Yorkshire Combined Authority and local transport providers to host a Visually Impaired Accessibility Travel Drop-In Surgery at Fountains Church, Bradford, BD5 0BQ. The aim of the event is to give people with visual impairments the skills and confidence to travel independently.

This event brings together transport providers, accessibility specialists, and local organisations to:

1. Provide practical, tailored support and advice
2. Demonstrate accessible travel tools and journey planning resources
3. Support tasks such as bus pass applications or renewals
4. Gather feedback to improve accessibility across the transport network
