Essex Libraries staff can help you:

✔ View appointments and test results
✔ Access trusted NHS health information
✔ Build your digital skills

Libraries also offer free computer access, free Wi-Fi and one-to-one support sessions in a friendly, welcoming environment.

🦷 Dentistry Appointments – Important Information 🦷

We are currently receiving a high number of requests for appointments relating to dental problems.

Please note:
👉 GPs are not responsible for treating dental conditions and are not equipped to manage issues that require dental expertise. There is a legal restriction on who can provide dental care.

If you have a dental problem:
✅ Please contact your regular dentist first
✅ If you do not have a dentist or cannot get a response, please call NHS 111 for advice and access to urgent care
✅ Dentists can prescribe NHS medication for NHS patients where appropriate

This month, we celebrate the LGBTQ+ communities and recognise the importance of creating a health and care service where everyone feels welcome, respected and supported.

Research has found that one in seven LGBT people have avoided seeking healthcare because they fear discrimination. This highlights why tackling health inequalities and improving access to care remains so important.

Pride Month is an opportunity to celebrate diversity, reflect on the progress that has been made and continue working towards a health and care system that works for everyone.

👀 Weight management support in Essex is available to help you improve your health and wellbeing. 👀

😍 Maintaining a healthy weight can reduce your risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, and other serious conditions.

✔ To be able to have weight loss injections you need to have completed the tier 2 programme and then only can be prescribed by the specialist weight management service Not the GP.
