This week, from 1st - 7th June, we join the rest of the UK in celebrating , which has now been running for 42 years! From organising the Christmas Raffle, attendance at fundraising events and representing our charity at our local village fetes, we are recognising the valuable contribution our volunteers make, providing their time, expertise and passion to deliver impact in our local community. THANK YOU ALL!

As a result of generous donations from our wonderful supporters, we are able to fund some valuable projects in our local schools. This week is and we partnered with The Laughter Specialists Charitable Trust to share the benefits and impact of laughter on our mental health with the pupils from Finchingfield School on Friday. In a world which isn't always fun, it's great that we are able to fund projects like this for local children!

It's Day, and we're celebrating the amazing nurses and their invaluable work at Freshwell Health Centre

Today, 12th May, is the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing and, in her honour we, in turn, honour the role that our local nurses play in our community. We salute their dedication, professionalism and the impact they have on patient care. The team at Freshwell are outstanding and we are delighted to celebrate them today - THANK YOU ALL - you truly represent what nursing is all about!

After a successful event on Monday at Finchingfield May Fair, we now look ahead to the Clubs and Societies event at Finchingfield Guildhall on Sunday. Our Chair, Sarah, will be there along with other Trustees to tell you all about the work we do in supporting Freshwell Health Centre and the difference your donations make.
