Just wanted to say a BIG SORRY to you lovely peeps for going AWOL recently. Unfortunately there's a lot going on in my life at the moment (who hasn't I hear you say!!! Ha!) that has taken me from one of my true passions of giving to you all here on Angel Whispers, and for that I'm truly saddened. But I will try to post intermittently so you know I haven't forgotten you all. Had A N Other like recently, but FB likes to keep details... Hmmmm!!! We're at a whopping 525 which is a number I used to always think of as our family of 5 living at number 25... but times have changed, homes too and numbers are dwindling... anyways rambling now... so have a wonderful day my sweets and remember even if I don't post, I'll always reply to messages, posts on here if received... I want to sincerely apologise to you all re me going AWOL of late... my wrist is so very delicate and typing with a wrist brace on is no fun at all... aside from all the typos, it hurts like hell... I've been on FB on and off the last few days clicking a "like" here and there and typing the odd post, but haven't been able to sustain typing pieces for my crystals... even taking photographs of them has gone by the wayside... :(

I hope given a little more time, painkillers (which I abhor) and a little self healing, my wrist will feel better and I'll be back with a vengeance... healed and raring to go... I miss you all and hope to be back soonest... many crystal and angelic blessings... O:)

PS: Back on with the brace... this took around fifteen minutes to type and rid it of typos... ha! Such is life ;)

PPS: Those who know I had steroid shots for two "trigger" fingers, will be pleased to know THEY WORKED!!! No more clicking/sticking fingers for me... :)

Hey you lovely crystal peeps... I'm still waiting to send off this little giftie to the first person who comments, which animal they have a passion for... and it links with the gift I have here beside me... as you know my passion is elephants... which doesn't mean my cats, dogs and budgie are not up there in the love stakes... of course not! but elephants are my passion whether I'm with them or not... so as your pets are your passion, think outside the box maybe a little further afield ... ha! this giftie is still awaiting a new guardian...

Today's crystal is Pyrite aka Iron Pyrites and Fool’s Gold.

Pyrite is usually silvery or grey/black with gold glistening chunky cubes. Known as Fool’s Gold for obvious reasons. The Mayans and Aztecs used polished pyrite mirrors for divination. In Palaeolithic times iron pyrites were known as a magical fire stone because when struck together they emitted sparks.

Pyrite is a good stone to work with for prosperity, but the prosperity has to be “worked” for through your own efforts. Many think hold the stone, prosperity will occur, but hold the stone and imagine it being money, money begets money, if used correctly. Ha!

Pyrite in healing works well with the Solar Plexus Chakra. Allows creative thinking and gives those ideas practicality. Pyrite is good at repelling negativity in the workplace. At home and at work Pyrite attracts good fortune and brings a harmonious atmosphere between those working or living closely together.

Pyrite eases anxiety, stress, depression and frustration. Protects one from pollutants and negative energies. Works well placed on any part of the body that is feeling sluggish or out of sorts.

Although Pyrite fairs quite hard on the mohs hardness scale at 6-6.5 because its clusters are brittle it is wise to keep it apart from harder solid stones.

Although not used in healing with children, they love it for its sparkly gold colour and their pleasure comes from the imitation of real gold. Iron Pyrites are good for aiding animals with skin complaints and is good for the care of reptiles and insects.

Just received some silver plate pinch bails for pendants... they fit perfectly on the beautiful angel wings I purchased from Juanita at Rustic Roots Holistic Health... I've used my collection of wings previously for grid work and having them close by when performing healing, but have decided a couple will be better served worn closer to my heart... so here are the Green Aventurine and Tiger Iron ... oooh I may change as I also have Amazonite and Fluorite ... decisions, decisions...
