Our staff had great fun taking part in a friendly game of volleyball while our wonderful residents cheered them on from the sidelines! There was plenty of laughter, encouragement, and team spirit, making it a fun-filled activity for everyone 🏐😅

Our Songs & Smiles session with babies and toddlers always brings so much joy to our home. ❤️

Residents love joining in with nursery rhyme singing, using props, and sharing special moments with the little ones. The laughter, smiles, and interaction between generations create a wonderful atmosphere and brighten everyone’s day. 🎶👶😊

Pet Therapy 🐾

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Lenny the Therapy dog, sharing cuddles, strokes, and lots of affection. The visit created a warm and joyful atmosphere, with many happy memories made and smiles seen throughout the home. 💖

At the beginning of June our residents were delighted to welcome back Andy Vocals 🎤

Music has a special way of bringing people together, and there was plenty of singing, dancing, laughter, and smiling throughout. 🎶💃🕺

Art Therapy 🎨, a friendly game of Darts 🎯, a Cheese & Wine afternoon🧀🍷, and our Knitting Club 🧶 are just a few of the ways our residents have been spending time in the sunshine over the past couple of weeks.

The warmer weather has provided the perfect opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities, socialise with friends, and make the most of our beautiful surroundings. Smiles, laughter, and good company have made for some wonderful days together. 😊🌷💛

🚌 Our Recent Trips Out 🚌

During May, residents enjoyed a wonderful visit to Braintree Museum to see the Wooden Dolls that they helped create on display. 😊 It was lovely to see their hard work showcased for everyone to admire. We also explored the old school room 📚 before heading out for a relaxing coffee afterwards. ☕️

Pauline and Charlie had a lovely trip to our local garden centre, where they enjoyed browsing the beautiful, colourful flower displays. 🌷 They finished their outing with a delicious cup of tea and a slice of cake in the café. ☕️🧁

These trips provide great opportunities for residents to enjoy new experiences, socialise, and make special memories together.

Residents enjoyed creating beautiful Forget Me Not flower artwork for Dementia Awareness Week using paints, collage materials, and soft spring colours.
The activity encouraged creativity & conversation, while the delicate blue flowers symbolised friendship, love, and treasured memories. 💙🦋
