Western Wellbeing Pip teaches both group and private yoga and somatic trauma therapy in person and by zoom. Pip is also a Reiki Master and offers private Reiki sessions.

Somatic Yoga therapy:

During your initial appointment Pip will work with you to assess your physical and mental needs and plan your treatment accordingly. You will learn how the stress and trauma you have experienced have impacted your mental and physical wellbeing and Pip will guide you through personalised movements to unwind these patterns from your body. These movements a

re often floor based but Pip also offers chair based treatments for anyone who is uncomfortable with lying on the floor. Through regular practice you will learn to find more peace, create an improved sense of wellbeing and feel physically stronger, more supple and less prone to injury. Private yoga lessons:

Pip will work with you to improve your strength, flexibility and muscle tone alongside your spiritual and mental wellbeing. Yoga is a holistic practice which, when practiced regularly, will transform your life.

What a week! I’ve learned so much from and I’m excited to incorporate his approach into my teaching.

I strongly feel that I stand on the shoulders of giants and give special credit to and now for their invaluable wisdom, knowledge and guidance. Such diverse and wonderful inspirations. I’m grateful to all of you and draw from you everyday. That’s quite a melting pot.
e1 is a fantastic studio. Not just a gorgeous space but so well run. You should definitely check them out.

And thank you to the very lovely for our chats as we ate our way through Spittlefields market 😂

I should probably make it clear I wasn’t in handstand or headstand, I was admiring the skills of the other yogis and taking a break 😆

I am working on my inversions but have a long way to go before I’ll hold a handstand, if I ever do. And that’s ok 😊

For me the point of a physical yoga practice is to be strong and mobile enough to deal with life’s physical challenges, particularly as we age, and to deepen our mental connection with our bodies. Everyone is unique and will have strengths and weaknesses in their body. Over time your yoga practice will help you become stronger and more mobile, it will improve your proprioception and your balance. Moving through life will become easier.

When people tell me they can’t practice yoga because they’re not flexible, it’s like telling me they can’t drink water because they’re too thirsty….

Drink water. Practise yoga.

I’ll be teaching Free Yoga in Rock Park on Sunday! 9.30 am, see you by the flag pole 🧘🌳

This weekend, it’s Pip’s turn to guide you through your Sunday morning dose of Free Yoga.

Pip is the heart and soul behind Western Wellbeing, a yoga and wellbeing space in Braunton.
Pip is a Senior Yoga teacher, somatic healing practitioner and Reiki Master with a passion to help people feel more calm, connected and at ease in their bodies.

Pip teaches with warmth, humour and a down to earth style that makes everyone feel welcome - whether you're new to yoga or have been practising for years. Her sessions blend gentle movement, breathwork and somatic awareness to help slow the nervous system, ease tension and bring a bit more joy into everyday life.

Outside of teaching Pip can usually be found walking the coast, having a dip in the sea or soaking up fresh air and nature.
