… it’s been a very Pawsitive day here at Laxfield House - thank you Lucy for kindly bringing in your wonderful group of Pomeranian’s - what an exciting bunch of active characters they were - we thoroughly enjoyed the visit and not to mention all those cuddles 😀🤣 XX

We are pleased to announce that following a CQC inspection on 6th August 2026 Laxfield House has been rated as GOOD across all of the five key inspection domains, generating an overall rating of GOOD. A big, big thank you to our ‘Team’ for ALL their continued excellent and conscientious work, their commitment, respect, attention to detail and above all the high quality of care that they provide our residents, their families and visitors! …. 🎀 🎀 what a fun PINK DAY we have all enjoyed here today at Laxfield House with our Celebration Lunch in aid of Breast Cancer Now entertaining our residents, family, visitors and staff. General consensus agreed that we all looked ‘Pretty in Pink’ ! 😀 A big thank you to Justine and her fabulous team of cooks for the delicious food. … A Big, Big thank you to Lindsey and Emma from Miss Lesley’s School of Performing Arts for their visit here this afternoon presenting us with their very entertaining and energetic singing, dancing and gymnastic show 🕺 🎶 🎤. With all the their activity, accompanied by everyone’s foot tapping and jigging in the aisles, a well deserved ‘Pimm’s rehydration’ was offered around (adults only🤪), accompanied by juice, Ice lollies, yummy cup cakes and treats. What a fun time spent in the garden with a super bunch youngsters. Enjoy your summer break everyone !☀️

🦙 🦙 .. today our residents welcomed the Hilly Ridge Alpaca’s to Laxfield House - what cheeky characters they all were, especially little Neville and Nigel who enjoyed getting up all close and personal ! Thank you Hilly Ridge for this wonderful hands on experience that was thoroughly enjoyed by us all ! 🦙 🦙 ❤️

Laxfield boot camp….residents enjoyed target practice and exercises in the garden today. It got competitive at one point 💪
