Sometimes we might feel that our emotions are becoming a bit too much to handle, and that can make it hard to get through the day.

If you’re looking for a bit of extra help, this new 10-week Managing Emotions Course might be just what you need.

It’s an online space where you can learn practical skills to help you feel more in control. Because it’s run like a class rather than a therapy group, it’s a very relaxed way to learn.

The idea is for everyone to feel comfortable, so you can choose to keep your camera off and you don't have to speak if you don't want to.

The course is open to any adult living in Somerset. If you'd like to join or just want a bit more information, email: [email protected] or check out https://bit.ly/managing-emotions-course

Thinking of anyone who is finding this week difficult 🤍

Thinking of anyone who is finding this week difficult 🤍

Today would've been your first day of school 🩷

Every September, social media feeds and family group chats are full of photos from parents showing their child’s first day of school. It's a beautiful moment, full of pride and excitement ahead of a brand new year.

But we know for lots of people in our community, the first day of school is just another heartbreaking reminder of what could have been if their much-loved baby had made it. Milestones like this can be painful and hard to deal with.

If you're struggling, we want to remind you we're here for you. Our baby loss information, support and stories are available 24/7 on our website and our lovely midwives are here for you at [email protected].

We want as many families as possible to bring their babies home. That's why we fund £2m of research every year to make pregnancy and birth safe - for everyone. Find out more: https://bit.ly/3YTVxDP
