⚠️ Important Notice: Early Closing Tonight ⚠️

We are very sorry, but due to unexpected staff shortages, the Leisure Club will be closing early at 6pm this evening (Wednesday 17th June).

⏰ Last entry to the pool and facilities today will be at 5pm.

We are incredibly sorry for any inconvenience this might cause to your plans tonight, and we want to thank you all in advance for your understanding.

We expect to be operating as normal tomorrow morning, opening at 7am. We will update you here if there are any early morning updates that affect our opening times.

Are you friendly, energetic, and love providing great customer service? We are looking for a part-time Leisure Club team member to join us at Highlands End Leisure Club.

If you're passionate about hospitality, fitness, and being part of a fantastic local team, we would love to hear from you.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨’𝗟𝗟 𝗕𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗚:
👋 Greeting our club members and holidaymakers at the leisure reception desk.
💦 Helping to maintain our high standards around our indoor pool, sauna, steam room, and changing facilities so everything is clean, safe, and welcoming for our members and guests.
📞 Answering enquiries, managing admissions, and helping everyone enjoy a relaxing visit.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥:
✅ A positive, "can-do" attitude with brilliant communication skills.
✅ Someone reliable who is comfortable working a flexible rota, including weekends and evenings.
✅ Previous experience in a customer-facing or leisure role is a bonus, but a great work ethic and enthusiasm are what matter most!

We know that for most of our members, the pool is a place to find some quiet and get some headspace. 🌿

While we’re pleased to have some of the area's best coaches at the club, we’re careful to balance those sessions with general swimming.

On our term-time timetable, the only times the pool is fully closed are for Aquafit on Monday and Thursday mornings, private booking Thursdays 7-8pm and our Saturday fun sessions. 🔹

For the rest of the week - even during the swim school hours - we make sure there is space for you to get your lengths in. It’s about offering high-quality coaching while keeping the relaxed atmosphere you've come to expect here. 🏊

The half-term fun starts tomorrow! 💦

Just a reminder for all our members that we’ll be switching to our school holiday timetable from tomorrow, Saturday 23rd May, through to Sunday 31st May.

We’ll have plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the club:

Adult Only Swims: 7am – 9am & 6pm – 8pm daily (Note: Thursday evening closes at 7pm for a private booking).

General Swimming: 9am – 4pm daily. Please note that on Monday 25th May, the pool will be closed for Aqua Fit between 10am and 11am.

Daily Fun Sessions: 4pm – 6pm (Exclusively for our holiday guests and leisure club members)

Music has a direct line to how we feel. Whether it’s a beat that gets your heart rate up or a melody that helps you exhale, the right sound can completely shift your headspace. 💭🎶

We’ve introduced our Saturday music hour to bring a bit of collective energy to the Leisure Club. We like to mix the playlist up - some mornings call for an energetic house set to shake off the week, while others feel more like a slow brunch jazz session. 🏊🏼‍♀️

Isolation can be a quiet hurdle for mental wellbeing, so we use these hours to bring people together. If there’s a track that helps you move or a genre that helps you feel grounded, let us know. We’re always open to requests. 🎶
