A patient came to us with ongoing foot pain even after a corn plaster didn’t help. Our podiatrist discovered a piece of glass embedded in her foot!

The wound was cleaned and dressed, and she left the clinic pain-free and very happy! 😊

Medical acupuncture uses very fine needles inserted into specific areas of the feet and lower legs. It is based on modern knowledge of anatomy and physiology and may help support pain management, muscle relaxation and the body’s natural healing processes.

Steroid Injections for Foot & Ankle Pain | Ace Clinic Podiatry

We are pleased to introduce steroid injection therapy at Ace Clinic Podiatry as a treatment option for persistent foot and ankle pain.

Steroid injections can help to reduce inflammation, relieve pain and improve mobility, potentially allowing patients to progress with rehabilitation when symptoms have not responded sufficiently to other treatments.

Following a thorough clinical assessment, steroid injections may be considered for a range of foot and ankle conditions, including:

* Plantar fasciitis
* Morton’s neuroma
* 1st MTP joint arthritis (hallux rigidus or hallux limitus)
* Ankle arthritis

Every patient is assessed individually to determine whether steroid injection therapy is an appropriate treatment option for their condition.
