It's taken almost 2 years and many 4am starts to fit the study in, but I can finally announce that I have passed my PG Certificate in Sensory Integration and can now add the title Sensory Integration Practitioner to my CV!
I did find out I had passed, with Merit, 5 weeks ago, but the results were not allowed to be shared until after exam board this week. And, it has taken me the 9 weeks since I submitted my final assignment to recover from the caffeine fueled final weeks of study.
So, what does it mean? Well, over the next month I'll be launching some additional services aimed at supporting people with pain, neurodiversity, menopause and sensory processing issues, alongside the traditional assessments for sensory integration and processing issues that are often needed in education settings. And of course...still the usual physio that Brightlingsea Physiotherapy has always offered.
Huge thanks go to Leon who has endured this course alongside me, keeping me fed and more than occasionally wined! Also to Robyn for allowing me to study and for being the original inspiration for following this course. And my lovely patients who have followed the journey with me...I am v grateful for all your support.
There may be a little ๐พ tonight!
