Inspired by the person booking this slot. I extended my Thursday and Friday opening hours. And realised today on my first evening I love it.

There’s something really nice about creating a little bubble of calm at the end of a long week.

When everyone else is out out, being in in and helping someone lovely to go within and rest really appeals to my soul and the homebody in me. Inhaling beautiful herbal oils all evening is so lovely too!

I usually think I’m a summer person, but I realised tonight that I really appreciate the cosy Friday Autumn nights. Anyone else? What’s your fave season and why?

Can’t get to sleep? And feel more awake at night? There is an ancient reason for this.

Creating a bed time routine is an important part of living an Ayurvedic lifestyle, as sleep is considered to be one of the three pillars of good health. But what do we do on the days where we don’t get ourselves into bed at a reasonable hour?

Luckily Ayurveda is non-judgmental and practical and the vedas say that this is the nature of the human condition! It provides a framework to rebalance that is realistic and helps us to live in harmony with the energies with us and our environments.

Are you a night owl? Or a consistent with your bedtime routine?

Autumn asks something of the body. As the days shorten and the air turns, our systems begin the quiet work of transition, and sometimes they need a little support to move through it with ease.

That's what the seasonal cleanse is for.

It's a slower, more intentional practice. A small group of us moving through this seasonal shift together, giving the body space to release what the summer held and settle into the new rhythm of autumn. In Ayurveda, these turning points between seasons are when the nervous system most benefits from gentle, deliberate care.

I keep the group small on purpose. It's the only way this kind of work feels personal rather than rushed.

There are three spaces left.

If you've been feeling out of step with yourself lately, or simply sensing that your body is ready for a reset, this might be the gentle invitation you've been waiting for. Send me a message and I'll tell you everything you'd like to know. 🍂

I often treat clients with multiple symptoms. Digestive issues and an overstimulated nervous system are common ones.

That’s because the two are closely connected. Ayurveda has always understood the gut brain connection. When we digest properly it makes us happier. And when we work on them together with diet and lifestyle consultations and oil therapies I see transformational shifts in my clients health and happiness. Less bloating, constipation, less pain, or acid indigestion and a happier person- the real them, emerges and blossoms.

I wanted to create a journey that will help even more people. This soundjourney is for you if you want the chance to improve your gut health and relax your nervous system.

It’s going to be a lovely gathering and I look forward to welcoming you. X

The practitioners who understand exhaustion best are often the ones who have lived it. 🌿

Before I trained in Ayurveda, I spent years stuck in fight-or-flight. Chronically depleted. Wired at night, foggy by day. I tried every routine, every fix, every well-meaning piece of advice. Nothing quite held.

What was missing wasn't more effort. It was a framework that understood my body as a whole system, not a list of symptoms to manage one by one.

Ayurveda gave me a way to support my nervous system at the root. That shift, from chasing symptoms to genuine restoration, is the same approach I bring to every client who walks into the studio in Brighton.

Swipe through for 3 things my own burnout taught me about healing. If any of it feels familiar, I'd love to see you for an Abhyanga session.

As we move out of summer and towards autumn, you might notice changes in your energy, sleep, digestion or mood- or simply feel more tired unsettled and in need of some proper rest.

Abhyanga is a traditional Ayurvedic warm oil treatment designed to deeply nourish the body, calm the nervous system and help us feel more grounded as the seasons change.

And sometimes two hours of being looked after, with nowhere else to be, is exactly what’s needed.

For next week only, I’m offering £10 off my two-hour Ultimate Healing Abhyanga at my Seven Dials practice.

Use the code SWITCHOFF when booking.

If you’ve been thinking about booking in, this is a lovely time to do it.

POV

You cancel your Ayurvedic Art of Deep Rest soundjourney and workshop that you spent hours on and paid a hall fee hire for, but you realise letting go was the best thing for everyone.

Couldn’t have people laying down for a soundjourney after the workshop to the sound of a new road being put down. Just couldn’t do it to you. No spiritual bypassing about how life isn’t always perfect and you have to learn to love the beeping machinery! And drilling! 🤣 It would have been selfish to put you through that.

I am so upset as was so looking forward to being together. But I know our next gathering on the 19th will be great.

Love you guys and don’t forget every time you feel like swerving your meditation practice, visualise me barking MEDITATE HARDER!!!! Across the church hall. 🤣😘
