I am so grateful to live in Brighton today.

Was listening to beautiful prayers in Taj earlier admiring all the gorgeous food from around the world.

Although I’m not Muslim I find hearing the prayers so beautiful, peaceful and meditative. I felt deeply moved and grateful and just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who marched today.

I tried to go later after work but they had already been headed off by you beautiful folks. Thanks for making me feel safer today and for standing together against hate.

Nature…our ever-loving mother and greatest healer.

Spending more time in nature helps cultivate a sattvic or calm state of mind according to Ayurveda.

We begin to realise we are part of it all. And start to see past the illusory nature of the world. Our five senses find nature harmonious, from beautiful sights, to nice smells, the sound of birds, the taste of fresh herbs and the touch of sun, breeze, or warm rain on our skin. We connect to the very essence of our being.

Love the gayatri mantra. I started singing it tonight as felt compelled to. I also love visualising angels protecting and healing humanity.

I hope love and peace will take over the world. And that the vibrations of our best most loving thoughts and intentions will fill ourselves and this world with truth, healing, beauty, inner stillness, strength, kindness, courage, compassion, gentleness and light.

Sometimes self-care can be surprisingly simple.

Today was a stressful admin and computer day and I could feel my fire energy rising. So I went to in Brighton and punched a boxing bag. I may or may not have imagined Trump and Nigel Farage’s face on it.

I’m not an angry person, and I’ve learnt that anger can also be a really healthy emotion. It can show us when something feels unfair, out of alignment or harmful. The important thing is finding a constructive way to express it and let it go.

Afterwards, I went home and made a simple cooling pitta-balancing dinner of beetroot, cucumber, dill and avocado.

Feeling much more balanced now.

Listening to all parts of yourself is important. Owning your emotions is powerful.

Honestly there are so many world leaders I’d love to punch in the face right now. How do you honour your sacred fire within and relax? Would love your tips and the wackier the better! 🤣

Just found out recently my dad still carries this photo of me, who’s going to tell him I’m 46?!? 🤣

Contemplating this birthday and always that love is the eternal all powerful force that carries us through all the different lifetimes that we get to share with each other.

This is one of my favourite treatments.

Abhyanga followed by shirodara is a detox for the nervous system. Excellent for sleep, anxiety, headaches, hormonal balance and fertility.

It blows my mind the wisdom from the Vedas. Reducing cortisol has magical effects and stimulating the hypothalamus and pituitary gland- the master controllers of our bodies stimulates other endocrine glands like the thyroid and adrenals to allow our hormones to flow and communicate effectively.

I love watching the transformations which occur from this treatment. The ancient wisdom of Ayurveda is a profoundly magical blessing to humankind. Our bodies know how to heal.

POV: you accidentally made your massage business so exclusive that hardly anyone knew they could book 😂

When I opened my home massage studio last September, I kept it very small and mostly invite only.

Partly because I wanted it to feel safe and personal. But also because people working from home often have to think about safety in ways others don’t always realise.

Then I realised I’d made my business a little too exclusive… including for myself 😂

So I’ve decided to open my home studio bookings more publicly for women and LGBTQIA+ clients

(Existing male clients are still very welcome.)
This space is for deep rest. Nervous system healing. Warm oil Abhyanga massages. A place to properly exhale.

Anyone else realised fear was limiting their business?
