Hip discomfort can make everyday activities feel harder than they should. During treatment, I use a range of techniques, including myofascial release, pin-and-stretch work, to help reduce tension, improve movement and support recovery.

I’ve been listening to a fascinating conversation between Dr Howard Schubiner and Dr Rangan Chatterjee on chronic pain and recovery.

It explores how pain isn’t always a simple reflection of tissue damage and how the nervous system, stress, emotions and life experiences can all play a role in persistent symptoms.

As someone who works with people living with chronic pain every day, I found it thought-provoking and full of useful insights.

Well worth a listen if pain, fatigue or stress are affecting your quality of life.

I work from a calm treatment room at the bottom of Elm Grove, Brighton, specialising in chronic pain and long-standing tension.
