We believe in making effective products from fresh, organic* fruit and vegetables, the finest essential oils and safe synthetics. We make them fresh by hand using little or no preservative or packaging, using only vegetarian ingredients, and tell you when they were made. We believe in buying ingredients only from companies that do not commission tests on animals and in testing our products on humans. We believe in happy people making happy soap, putting our faces on our products and making our mums proud. We believe in long candlelit baths, sharing showers, massage, filling the world with perfume and in the right to make mistakes, lose everything and start again. We believe that all people should enjoy freedom of movement across the world. We believe our products are good value, that we should make a profit and that the customer is always right.

We’re becoming Anti-Social 👋

‘We wouldn’t ask our customers to meet us down a dark and dangerous alleyway - but some social media platforms are beginning to feel like places no one should be encouraged to go. Something has to change.

We hope that platforms will introduce strong best practice guidelines, and we hope international regulation will be passed into law. But we can’t wait. We feel forced to take our own action to shield our customers from the harm and the manipulation they may experience whilst trying to connect with us on social media.

So will be signing out from Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat, until these platforms can provide a safer environment for their users’

LUSH Brighton are excited to announce our upcoming Fat Positive and Gender Inclusive Clothes Swap event August 21st-22nd!

Join us for a weekend of celebrating finding joy in our beautiful bodies while exchanging some GORGEOUS garms!

This will be a TICKETED event through the purchase of our Charity Pot body lotion, standard entry will be £4.50 while our premium entry will be £16 and will include lovely LUSH treats and a special surprise!

All proceeds will go to , a wonderful organisation run by and devoted to the safety and wellbeing of Brighton and Hove’s trans and non-binary community!

DROP OFF YOUR CLOTHING WELL BEFORE THE EVENT - we will be accepting your clothes from Wednesday the 28th of July!

To ensure everyone’s security, the event will be organised into 30 minute time slots! If you’d like to come, please follow the link in our bio and secure a space for a slot that suits you! Payment will be taken when you bring your clothes in!

We will not be accepting jewellery, underwear or shoes for this event.

Plastic is No Laughing Matter and for our we are celebrating the power of local action with Balloon Blanket! 🎈

Who remembers our Big Pride beach clean of 2019 where we and 1000 volunteers collected 2.43 tonnes of rubbish from our beach. Say hello to the 1,391 balloons we found on the beach that day - repurposed into a piece of art with a message 🌊💚

Every small action we make as an individual whether it be swapping for a plastic free alternative, using a reusable coffee cup or getting involved in local action makes a huge difference to our planet. 🌍

✨Brighton, you came THROUGH and we are in awe of you! 🥲

For reference, our incredible Lucy is 6ft and next to her is over 250 course books that has been donated to us over the last week for the Black and Minority Ethnic Young People's Project

From medical school text book, GCSE mock papers to play texts and revision cards. All of these incredible resources are going to help young people from ethnic minority backgrounds with their education. This is educational equity! 📚 🙌

We’re holding a Educational Resource drive in store for books and technology to support young people of colour with their education. Any human who brings GCSE / A-LEVEL / University Course books in to store this week will receive a LUSH product as a thank you!

Education is not a privilege. Help us support this incredible work who is working to empower and inspire young people from minority ethnic backgrounds 💛

Starting today at LUSH Brighton: our Educational Equity campaign, in collaboration with the Brighton ! 📚📖 Black and Minority Ethnic Young People's Project

For the rest of the week, all sales of the Charity Pot body lotion (excluding VAT) will go directly to this incredible organisation! We will also be providing a ✨FREE GIFT ✨to any of you who are able to donate unwanted GCSE and A-Level study books or electronics (such as laptops and tablets) for young people in the project to access.

The BMEYPP provide safe spaces for young people from marginalised backgrounds. The program relies on volunteers to help organise educational support, sports and arts programs and social activities for young humans aged between 11-25!

Earlier this year, they began their Crown Project on natural hair - a weekly inclusive group discussion and creative session to empower young humans to love and care for their natural hair!
