Our free family fun day in Hangleton this summer was another chance for families to get together and make memories.

Peppa Pig was on great form as usual, with bubbles, face painting, magic, , animals and more...

And thanks again to our volunteer photographer for capturing the smiles from the day so that we can share them with you here.

Were you there? What was your favourite part?

Our Amazing Futures holiday club in Brighton took part in an incredibly fun and engaging circus skills workshop this summer, led by Kevin from .

The group got to try out different circus equipment – spinning plates, juggling, hula hoops, diabolo, and even braved the tightrope! There was amazing energy and smiles in the room as everyone learnt new skills.

The young people were in agreement that their highlights were braving the tightrope and showing off their hula hoop skills!

Youth worker Jade said, “Seeing the young people develop confidence and beaming from their progress and achievements when trying new things in the session was my glimmer.”

(Not heard of a glimmer before? It’s a moment of joy and peace ✨ - the opposite of a trigger.)

The Story Trail is almost here!

Keep your eyes peeled around the city as our BookBenches are put in place this week. The map is now live on the website and you can even sneak peek the designs in the The Argus article:

This free art trail will raise awareness of Amaze and much needed funds too. It’s a very exciting and new venture for us, please spread the word to everyone and anyone!

A storybook-themed art trail is bringing colour to streets.

Can you believe it's less than 10 days until our free art trail is spread across the city of Brighton & Hove for all to enjoy?

Mini Benchy has been out and about giving clues to locations - we hope you are all as excited as we are about the launch? This project really will go a long way spreading awareness of who Amaze is and what we do, as well as raising much needed funds to keep our services running.

Make sure you are following The Story Trail for all the latest information and tell everyone you can that it's happening!

Catch us this Saturday at Lagoon Fest Friends of Hove Lagoon if you fancy a chat about the trail and how you can get involved.

This summer we had another fabulous day at Hindleap Warren.

Children and young people with complex health needs and PMLD in Brighton & Hove and East Sussex enjoyed a free day of activities and enjoying the outdoors.

Families got enjoy a zip wire, pentagon lower and archery. A lovely chance to make memories, uncover strengths, and make new friends. Huge thanks to the supportive, friendly team at Hindleap for making this such a special day.

You can see how much fun it was by all the smiles captured by our volunteer photographer, Kara, who we would also like to thank. We know you'll agree these photographs are a beautiful record of the day and these are just a taste - we will be sure to share more!

Were you one of the families who attended? Let us know what you thought of the day ⬇

We had a wonderful time over the summer in the park with our Amazing Futures youth group for young women and non-binary folk in East Sussex! 🌿

We fit in a lot of time for eating tasty snacks, playing games, and making some nature and sticker collages. 🎨

It was great to get outside and enjoy the sunny weather - thankfully there were also enough trees for us to hide under for shade too! 🌲
