Grace Eyre

Grace Eyre Charity supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people to live the lives they want.

Grace Eyre may be one of Brighton and Hoveโ€™s oldest charities but our team of highly experienced staff and carers has a thoroughly modern approach to providing innovative services for people with a learning disability. We provide services to over 650 people across Sussex supporting each person to maximise their independence and achieve their dreams and wishes. Grace Eyre is committed to ensuring t

hat people with learning disabilities who use our services are involved at all levels of the organisation and that their ideas and goals are a central part of all our service developments. Through our four areas of Active Lives (day services) Shared Lives (family placement), Choices (community support) and Grace Eyre Housing, the teams are able to put together really flexible packages of high quality person centred support.

Meet Hayley ๐Ÿ‘‹

Hayley is a Support Worker at Grace Eyre and facilitates different activities including cooking.

"Cooking sessions at Grace Eyre are constantly evolving and we are guided by what the people we support want to learn. Recently, we have been working on modelling using fondant icing and trying new recipes from different countries! Being able to cook is an important skill for independence and seeing people's enthusiasm and dedication is really rewarding!

I enjoy trying new things with the people we support and seeing them have fun. I feel really proud of their achievements. There are always so many exciting projects going on at Grace Eyre, from mini documentaries to drama performances! "
