Last chance - the Peri Runner Reset starts tomorrow morning and I’m excited to start with all these lovely strong ladies who have signed up so far! 💗

If you’ve been going back and forth on whether to join, this is your sign. Five days. Completely free. Straight to your phone, no faff.

Day one drops tomorrow and it’s the one that changes how you think about everything else this week, why your running feels harder than it should, and what’s actually going on in your body when it does.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need a diagnosis. You just need to show up.

Tomorrow morning. In the group. Let’s go.

POV: you’re talking yourself out of the one thing that might actually help. Again.

I don’t have time. I’ve tried everything already. I’m not even sure I’m perimenopausal. It’s free, so it’s probably not that good.

Sound familiar? Watch this before you talk yourself out of it again.

The Peri Runner Reset starts tomorrow. Five days. Completely free.

Exhausted on every run. Recovery taking days instead of hours. Weight that won’t budge no matter what she tried. Sound familiar?

Donna came to me exhausted. Struggling on runs she used to find easy. Gaining weight despite training more than ever. Recovering so slowly she was starting to dread her long runs.

She’d tried everything. Lower calories. More miles. Cutting out carbs. Nothing worked, and she was starting to think this was just what getting older felt like.

We changed how she fuelled. More protein. More carbs around her training. Better blood sugar stability through the day. Nothing extreme. No restriction.

Eight weeks later she knocked four minutes off her half marathon pace. She was also 5lbs down but that was a nice added bonus. Overall she felt strong, her recovery time halved. She had energy again, real energy, not just caffeine holding her together.

She didn’t change her training. She changed her fuel.

This is what’s possible when you start fuelling for the body you actually have, not the one you had at 35.

That’s what The Peri Runner Reset is all about. A free 5-day challenge starting Monday 22nd June for female runners in perimenopause.

The exact 5 things I’m teaching female runners this week (free)!

Here’s everything inside The Peri Runner Reset - and why I built it specifically for female runners.

This is a free 5-day challenge starting next Monday. Every morning you get a short video delivered straight to you. Here’s what we’re covering:

Day 1 - Blood sugar. What it is, why it matters more than ever in perimenopause, and why it’s the key to everything else this week.

Day 2 - Protein at lunch. Why it matters more than ever and how to actually get enough.

Day 3 - Protein at breakfast. The fix that changes how your whole day feels.

Day 4 - Carbs before a run. The one thing that stops you feeling exhausted before you’ve even started.

Day 5 - Eating after a run. What to eat, when, and how to adapt it to whatever else is going on in your life that day.

Five days. All free. All built for runners like us.

I created this because I am you. I’m a menopausal marathon runner who spent years following advice that was never designed for my body. The Peri Runner Reset is everything I wish I’d had when I was trying to figure out why everything felt so different on the run.

If I wanted to stop feeling exhausted on my runs, I’d do this one thing.

Eat one hour before I go out.

I know. It sounds too simple. But the number of female runners I speak to who are heading out the door on an empty stomach - or just a coffee - and then wondering why every run feels like a slog is honestly staggering.

In perimenopause, your blood sugar becomes less stable. Your body is less efficient at switching between fuel sources. So when you head out without eating, you’re asking it to run on empty at exactly the stage of life when that hits hardest.

A small carbohydrate-based snack 30 to 60 minutes before you run changes everything.
Toast with jam.
A banana.
A handful of oats with yoghurt or milk.
Nothing complicated. Nothing that needs a nutrition degree to figure out.

You’ll feel the difference on the run. More energy in the first mile. Less of that heavy, flat feeling that makes you want to turn around and go home.

This is just one of the things we’re covering in The Peri Runner Reset - a free 5-day challenge starting next Monday for female runners in perimenopause.

You’re doing everything right. Training consistently, eating well, getting your steps in. So why do you feel worse than you did five years ago?

Exhausted after runs that used to feel easy. Taking days to recover when it used to take hours. Sleeping badly even though you’re more tired than ever. Watching the weight creep up despite nothing changing.

That is not laziness. That is not age. That is perimenopause - and it affects everything about how we run, recover, and feel.

The cruel part? Most of the advice out there wasn’t designed for us. Low carb diets, intermittent fasting, high intensity every day - all of it actively makes perimenopause harder for runners. We’ve been following rules that were written for a different body.

That’s why I created The Peri Runner Reset. A free 5-day challenge starting next Monday, built specifically for female runners who are doing everything right and still feeling awful.

You deserve information that actually works for the body you have right now.

👀 Something free starting next Monday for female runners who are exhausted, undertrained, and can’t figure out why… 💗

If your easy runs feel like a tempo run lately - and your training hasn’t changed - I need you to watch this.

In perimenopause, oestrogen starts to drop. And when it does, three things happen to runners: your perceived effort goes up, your heart rate runs higher, and your body holds onto weight even when you’re training hard.

None of this is your fault. And none of it means you need to run more or eat less.

You need to fuel differently. And that’s exactly what the free challenge starting next Monday is all about.

Last night, I went out with some friends and laughed until my cheeks hurt.

And do you know what? We all needed it.

Last year, I spent so much time chasing marathon numbers, travelling to races, and ticking things off the list that I actually missed quite a few opportunities to spend time with these girls.

Now, don’t get me wrong - I love running. I love feeling fit and healthy. I love looking after myself.

But sometimes the healthiest thing you can do isn’t another run, another salad, or another early night.

Sometimes it’s saying yes to the dinner.
Yes to the takeaway.
Yes to the glass of wine.
Yes to the people who make you laugh so hard you forget about everything else for a few hours.

Will I feel a bit bloated today? Probably.

Was the takeaway perfectly aligned with my goals? Not really.

But if reaching a weight-loss goal takes a few weeks longer because I spent time making memories with people I love, I’m okay with that.

Because when I look back on my life, I won’t be thinking about the calories, the macros, or whether I stayed perfectly on track.

I’ll remember the laughter.

Health isn’t just about looking after your body.

It’s about looking after your heart and your mind too. 💗
