Today is a reminder of how proud I am to be a nurse for over 16 years. From women’s health and general practice to aesthetics, caring for people has always been at the heart of what I do.

Nursing has given me the knowledge, compassion and ethics that shape every treatment and every patient interaction at Sarelle Clinic.

Last night I had the privilege of speaking at the Brighton Women’s Centre about menopause and skin health.

It was a small group of 11 in person and over zoom, what stood out most for me wasn’t just the questions, but the openness, kindness and support the women showed one another. It felt like a genuinely safe space to talk honestly about symptoms that are so often dismissed or suffered through quietly.

We talked about itchy skin, dryness, sensitivity, hormonal changes and how menopause can affect the whole body, not just one symptom at a time. The conversations were thoughtful, curious and incredibly grounded in real life.
I’m really grateful to Jane and the team for the warm welcome, and for creating a space where women feel heard and supported. I’d love to return again in the future if it’s helpful.
