Hi friends! Will you do me a favour? I'm going to be having prints made of some of these next week. This is my Rainbow Humans series, and I need to choose the top likely best sellers. Which one is your favorite? Please comment below to help me out!

Ps I tried a poll but it only has 4 options.

I've put their titles below with a few details. I made all 18 of these in something of a frenzy of excitement, lol. They all celebrate my love of Brighton, q***r community and neurodiverse Hyperfocus.

1. Event Horizon. A cameo filled with rainbow paint on a background of grid lines inspired by modelling of black holes

2. Hyperconnected. A self portrait cameo of autistic Hyperfocus

3. Aural Flow. A self portrait cameo of the experience of listening to music

4. Sea Core. A self portrait cameo of Brighton and the West pier. You could chop me down the middle and I'd have 'Brighton' stamped inside me like a stick of rock. A piece about how place can become identity.

5. Trans. A gender neutral cameo in the trans pride flag colours

6. Brighton Skies. A gender neutral cameo of Brighton's skies

7. Sunset. A gender neutral cameo of the West Pier at sunset

8. Twilight. A gender neutral cameo of the West Pier at Twilight

9. Q***r Pier. A gender neutral cameo with a window into the west pier

10. Sea Girl. A cameo of the skies of Brighton filled with seagulls

11. West Pier. A gender neutral cameo of the West Pier filled with seagulls

12. Patchwork. A gender neutral cameo with rainbow tones in Pride Flag colours

13. Soft Pride. A cameo filled with softly transgressive rainbow tones

14. Sea Pride. A gender neutral cameo inspired by my q***r family

15. Landscape. A cameo filled with trees and rolling hills from the South Downs

16. Pride. A cameo filled with rainbow colours with a vibe of resistance

Test 6: layering - this was the test gf which I discovered THE ICE GLASS EFFECT - *dramatic cinema music* - where layering produces a crazy 3d optical illusion like an ice cube or glass. More on this later!

Pencil lines: 2/10 broke up into dots due to the lined texture of the paper

🛻 As I explained to my partner Kieren Johnstone the other day the purpose of these tests is less to find out specifically how they perform under these conditions and more like taking it for a test drive round the block to see what I can discover!

But it took me ages so I might as well write up the results, and seeing all the info laid out makes me happy 😻

I'm delighted to announce that my painting "Sea Core" has been accepted for the Skyway Anniversary Exhibition, at the Shoreham Center from 21st to 25th September!

This painting, a watercolour and ink cameo, shows a window into the west pier of Brighton, a place that has been my home for the last 30 years and has formed my identity. You could split me down the middle line a stick of rock, and it would say 'Brighton' stamped inside me.

This painting is part of my Rainbow Humans series, which will soon be available as A4 prints and greetings cards.

Please come and see the show, it would mean so much to me!

Asking for a friend... It's completely normal to find yourself sitting in your studio without any clothes on (because you were about to have a shower but got distracted), painting layers of uv paint in the dark while trying to capture the magical effect with a uv torch and an inadequate phone camera? Right? Right?

I should probably go and have that shower now...
