Open to the public and rooted in the local community, The Hideaway Bar is a tranquil space next to Preston Park. A place to pause, unwind and enjoy a drink away from the bustle of the outside world.

Our carefully considered selection includes English sparkling w**e from local vineyard Ridgeview W**e Estate predominantly organic and often biodynamic natural w**es curated by Under the Bonnet W**es local craft b**r from Burning Sky Brewery botanical kombucha from Old Tree Brewery CIC pour-over coffee from Skylark Coffee and a selection of teas from Hoogly Tea

Whether you’re joining us before or after a spa experience, or simply stopping by for a quiet drink, the bar is a space to slow down, settle in and take a moment.

Every detail of the Hideaway experience is thoughtfully considered - right down to the tea we serve.

We’re proud to exclusively brew - a Brighton-based tea company a few doors down the road from us. When it comes to supporting local, it doesn’t get much closer than this.

Beautifully crafted tea, hand blended on the South Coast and brewed to be enjoyed slowly.

A simple ritual to help you slow down, switch off and leave feeling restored.

A little wedding break 💍☀️

Just a little note to say that we’ll be closed for the next couple of weeks, as two of our lovely owners, Iona & Sam, are getting married in the South of France this weekend! 🇫🇷💍

As a small, independent, family-run business, the majority of our lovely core team will be heading over to celebrate with them, so we’re taking a little time away from the spa to enjoy this very special occasion together.

We’ll be back open and ready to welcome you from Tuesday 1st September.

Long before The Hideaway, one of our directors, Eve, spent her days brewing kombucha at Old Tree Brewery before retraining as a massage therapist.

These days she’s swapping brewing tanks for massage tables, but we’re still proudly serving Old Tree Brewery CIC Kombucha at The Hideaway. We might be biased, but we think it’s the best booch in the land.

We’re also huge fans of what Old Tree stands for. They’re a social enterprise using fermentation to support regenerative farming, healthier soil, and stronger connections between people and nature. It’s a business built on the idea that looking after ourselves and looking after the planet can go hand in hand.

It feels like a pretty perfect fit for The Hideaway. 💚
