Our White Paper is out and explores the economic case for wider NHS access to medical cannabis 🌱🩺

Wider access to medical cannabis through the NHS could deliver significant annual benefits across healthcare, employment and public spending.
Our estimate identifies £204–£234 million in measurable annual benefits including:

💊 £50m from reduced conventional medication use
🩺 £4m from fewer GP consultations
💼 £100m from increased employment-related tax revenue
🏛️ £30m from reduced welfare expenditure
💷 £20–£50m from reduced opioid-related costs

Medical cannabis deserves to be evaluated not simply as another treatment expense, but as a potential strategic investment in public health, productivity and patient wellbeing.

Patients deserve access based on evidence, need and clinical outcomes not their ability to pay!

Cannabis isn’t one-size-fits-all 🌱

One of the most interesting things about medicinal cannabis is just how different individual cultivars can be. Diversity can be valuable when patients are trying to find something that works for their particular needs.

Here we have Apple Fritter — often associated with a balanced, uplifting yet relaxing profile 🍏
And Blueberry Bananas — typically known for a more calming, relaxing experience 🫐🍌

Different genetics can mean different cannabinoid and terpene profiles, which may influence how a person experiences a strain. That’s why finding the right medicine can sometimes involve careful, individualised trial and monitoring.

There isn’t one “best” strain for everyone and what works well for one patient may not work the same way for another! Personalised medicine matters 💚
