Would you like to know where your symptoms are coming from?

We usually know when something isn’t right with our body, and it can be very frustrating to hear medical tests are ‘normal’ 😞

I use muscle testing to find out exactly what is causing your symptoms, the body always knows when something is not right - it’s so clever!

I’ve just come back from a wonderful wellness retreat this weekend, first time for me and I really enjoyed it 🥰

Lots of walks, yoga, swimming and lovely fresh food. It’s a bit different to come back from a holiday feeling so refreshed 😂

Taking a few days out was such a good reminder for me of how important it is for us to look after ourselves, so often we are looking after kids/family/pets or putting our work first.

Is there something that you could do for yourself this week?

Even if it’s just taking an hour out for a walk, coffee, or reading a book you’ve been wanting to. Take some time for you ❤️

Why strength training is mega important for menopause ❤️

When we get into perimenopause our hormone levels can change massively (especially estrogen) which affects our health in many ways, we often don’t feel ourselves 😞

Strength training is one of the most effective ways to counter some of these changes, here’s why it’s great to do it regularly;
�🩷 Maintains our muscle mass - the more muscle we have, the more calories we burn, which helps our metabolism 🔥

🩷 Protects our bones - lower estrogen increases the risk of bone loss and osteoporosis, resistance training helps keep bones stronger 💪🏻

🩷 Improves mood, sleep and stress management - strengthen training gives us endorphins, which make us feel so much better overall 🧘🏼‍♀️

🩷 Helps with insulin sensitivity and long term health - hormone changes increase the risk of insulin resistance and things like cardiovascular disease. Regular training improves blood sugar regulation and supports our heart health

If you find it tricky to sleep, here are a few things that might help you wind down in the evening;

❤️Reflect - take 5 mins to think about what you are grateful for from your day

😴Disconnect - switch off from phones and screens, this really helps your sleep hormone

✍🏼Plan for tomorrow - if you find your mind races at night, writing things down can help settle your thoughts

📘Read - this can be lovely and relaxing before you go to sleep

🧘🏼‍♀️Breathe - deep breaths can help get you into ‘resting mode’

Thanks to my lovely client for writing me this review.

‘’I went to see Suzie, initially to find an alternative way to relieve my hayfever without relying on antihistamines, as I was concerned about their negative effects on the body & suffer where it can be debilitating.

From the start, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but the experience was calm, light-hearted, and educational throughout. Suzie took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel completely at ease.

Rather than jumping straight into hayfever treatment, she identified some underlying root causes that needed to be addressed first in order to properly support long-term relief. This holistic approach really stood out to me.

Since my first appointment, I’ve already noticed significant improvements, my monthly cycle symptoms have eased, I feel less puffy, I’m carrying less fluid (around 6lbs less), and I feel calmer and more balanced overall. My focus has improved and the brain fog I was experiencing has cleared.

In addition, she advised me on a natural approach to help clear a kidney infection I had been struggling to resolve with antibiotics. Within 24 hours of following her guidance, the pain had significantly subsided.

I’m now about to begin the next stage of focusing on hayfever relief, and I feel completely confident that I won’t need to rely on antihistamines going forward.

Thanks to my lovely lady for giving me a 6 month update, it’s great to hear!

‘I would highly recommend Suzie. I had suspected I had intolerance issues for sometime but didn’t really know where to start. So how does Kinesiology work?

I use gentle testing to work out what is happy and balanced in the body (and what isn’t)

There are lots of different testing modes which means;

❤️ I can work out what is the most important issue for your body (and treat that in the session)

❤️ I can find out if something emotional is having an effect (and work through this with you)

❤️ I can find out what is linked to what (for example, could stress hormones be causing weight gain?)

Finding out the full picture will help get you feeling back to your best as quickly as possible.

What can you expect from a session with me?

🌟I want to hear everything about your health. Not just one thing. It’s so important to know everything that’s going on, as the little things are often linked to each other!

🌟I will test all the relevant areas in your body to work out what your body is happy with and what it isn’t. This helps me get to the root cause of what’s going on.

🌟I treat your body with lymphatic massage and some other techniques that help to reset your body. This gets you feeling better straight after the session.

🌟We make a plan for what to do afterwards. Whether this is diet/nutrition advice, lifestyle suggestions or stress management, you’ll leave my clinic knowing what to focus on.

🌟I’ll test and recommend supplements and vitamins that are bespoke to you, which may help give your body a short term boost.
