You baby is fast asleep in your arms, they wake up the second you put them down 😭😭😭😭

Or maybe you’ve been told to try putting them down drowsy but awake?!

Let’s talk about these …

So when you put your baby down once fallen asleep, you are risking:
- Interrupting the sleep cycle
-Changing their environment and position which disturbs them, removing them from the place they feel safe enough to fall asleep.
-Waking them just as sleep is starting
-Triggering frustration, tears, and resistance

No wonder we get frustrated and settling becomes harder.

Sometimes they wake on transfer and suddenly they seem wide awake again.
That “drowsy moment” has already acted like a mini nap, giving them just enough rest to restart their wake window.
This is why naps get refused even when they were clearly tired.

🚨 I’m saying this loud and clear because it needs to be heard… 🚨

If you’re struggling, exhausted, second guessing yourself every night…
You deserve to know this:

👉 You do NOT have to choose between being a responsive, loving parent and getting a peaceful nights sleep.

The idea that wanting better sleep makes you selfish, harsh, or “mean” is outdated, harmful and simply untrue.
And I hate watching parents feel guilty for wanting their family to be well rested.
