💙 You're not just a client to me... you're a person with a story. 💙

Behind every enquiry, every phone call and every session is someone who has been carrying something for far too long.

✨ Anxiety that never seems to switch off.
✨ A fear that's holding them back.
✨ A habit they desperately want to change.
✨ A loss of confidence.
✨ Or simply the feeling that they're ready for life to feel easier.

Taking that first step can feel overwhelming, and I know how much courage it takes to reach out. 🤍

That's why I take the time to listen without judgement, to understand your goals, and to create a space where you can finally relax and focus on you.

There's no pressure, no criticism and no expectation to have all the answers. Just support, encouragement and practical tools to help you move towards the life you want. 🌿

And the best part? Watching someone walk into the room feeling anxious and leave with hope in their eyes is something I'll never get tired of. Seeing confidence grow, hearing about little wins, and celebrating big breakthroughs is why I love what I do. ✨

If you've been wondering whether hypnotherapy could help you, this is your reminder that you don't have to struggle alone.

💙 You won't be just another appointment in my diary.
💙 You won't be judged.
💙 You'll be listened to, supported and encouraged every step of the way.

Sometimes, one small decision can be the start of a very different chapter.

Maybe this is yours. 🌟

Understanding Health Anxiety 💙

Do you find yourself constantly worrying about your health? Perhaps you notice every sensation in your body, spend hours searching symptoms online, or seek repeated reassurance from doctors, family, or friends. If so, you may be experiencing health anxiety.

Health anxiety is more than simply caring about your health. It can create a cycle where normal bodily sensations are interpreted as signs of serious illness, leading to increased worry, stress, and hypervigilance. Ironically, anxiety itself can cause physical symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, muscle tension, stomach discomfort, and a racing heart, which can then fuel further concern.

In my practice, I use a blend of Solution Focused Therapy, Clinical Hypnosis, and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) to help clients break free from the cycle of worry and regain confidence in their body and mind.

✨ Solution Focused Therapy helps you shift attention away from the problem and towards your strengths, resources, and the future you want to create.

✨ Clinical Hypnosis helps calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and access a more relaxed state where positive change can take place naturally.

✨ NLP techniques can help you change unhelpful thought patterns, reduce fear responses, and develop healthier ways of responding to uncertainty.

Imagine waking up and noticing a sensation without immediately fearing the worst. Imagine feeling calmer, more in control, and able to focus on enjoying life rather than constantly monitoring your health.

Change is possible, and support is available.

📩 If health anxiety is affecting your daily life, feel free to get in touch to find out how hypnotherapy could help.

💭 How different would your life be if you stopped worrying about what other people think?

Really think about it...

✨ How many opportunities would you take?
✨ How many times would you speak up?
✨ How many dreams would you chase?
✨ How much lighter would you feel?

So many people live within the limits of other people's opinions, afraid of being judged, criticised, or misunderstood. 😔 Yet the reality is, no matter what you do, someone will always have an opinion.

When you let the fear of judgement control your choices, you hand over your power to others. But when you stop seeking approval and start trusting yourself, something incredible happens—you become free. 🕊️

💡 Remember, people's judgments often say far more about them than they do about you. Their criticism, assumptions, and opinions are often filtered through their own insecurities, fears, experiences, and beliefs.

What they think of you is not a measure of your worth. ❤️

Imagine how empowering it would feel to simply not care.

🌟 To post the photo.
🌟 To start the business.
🌟 To apply for the job.
🌟 To set the boundary.
🌟 To be unapologetically yourself.

The people who achieve the things they once thought impossible aren't the ones who never experience judgement. They're the ones who stop letting it stop them. 💪

You were not born to shrink yourself to make other people comfortable.

🔥 You were born to live your life, not to live according to someone else's opinion of it.

✨ What could you achieve if you were no longer held back by the fear of being judged?

💙 Your life changes the moment you stop asking for permission to be yourself.

✨💙🌿

Breaking free from a habit that no longer serves you can feel incredibly difficult — especially when your mind has linked it to comfort, relief, or temporary pleasure.

Even when the habit leaves you feeling frustrated, stuck, or disappointed afterwards, the brain still remembers the moments of relief or reward. That’s what keeps the cycle going.

Over time, strong neural pathways are created, making the habit feel automatic and familiar — which is why change can sometimes feel uncomfortable at first.

Some powerful ways to start creating change:

🌟 Take a step back and look at the habit honestly — how is it really affecting your mind, body, confidence, energy, or daily life?

🌟 Become aware of what your brain is actually seeking from the habit. Is it calm, escape, comfort, stimulation, certainty, or emotional relief?

🌟 Introduce new routines and experiences that support your wellbeing and help your nervous system feel safe without relying on the old pattern.

🌟 Stop romanticising the habit and start seeing it clearly for what it takes away from you as well as what it temporarily gives.

🌟 Think about the version of yourself you want to grow into. Do your current choices move you closer to that person or further away?

The amazing thing about the brain is that it can change. Every time you make a healthier choice, you strengthen new neural pathways that support the life you truly want.

If you would like some help breaking a habit that no longer serves you, I’d love to help.

Big goals are rarely reached in one huge leap ✨
They’re built in the small moments most people overlook.

A 10 minute walk 🚶‍♀️
Drinking more water 💧
Going to bed a little earlier 🌙
Taking one deep breath instead of reacting 🌿
Showing up even when motivation is low 💛

In Solution Focused practice, we don’t focus on everything that’s wrong or how far away the end goal feels. We focus on small, realistic steps forward and noticing what’s already working ✨

Because confidence grows through action 🌱
And progress becomes easier when goals feel manageable instead of overwhelming.

Micro habits might feel insignificant at the time, but repeated daily they quietly change your mindset, resilience and direction 🌸

You don’t need to change everything overnight.
Just keep moving towards the version of you you want to become, one small step at a time 🤍

“Why can trauma stay with someone for years?” 💭

One of the hardest things about trauma is that people often think:

“I should be over this by now.”
“Why does it still affect me?”
“Why does my body still react like this?”

But trauma is not simply something you “get over.”
It is something the brain and body have learned to protect you from.

When we go through something distressing or overwhelming, the brain stores that experience differently.

The logical part of the brain may know:
👉 “I’m safe now.”

But the emotional part of the brain can still react as though the danger is happening in the present.

That’s why trauma can show up as:

😣 anxiety
😴 poor sleep
🤯 overthinking
⚡ feeling constantly on edge
💔 emotional reactions that feel bigger than the situation
🫥 avoidance or feeling disconnected

This is your nervous system trying to keep you safe.

The good news is the brain can learn differently 🌿

I am trained in trauma work and use gentle NLP techniques alongside Solution Focused Hypnotherapy to help clients process difficult experiences safely and begin reducing the emotional intensity attached to them.

Over the years I have supported many clients who felt stuck in patterns of fear, anxiety, panic or overwhelm — helping them regain a sense of calm, confidence and control again 💙

Healing does not mean forgetting what happened.

It means your mind and body no longer have to stay trapped in survival mode.

⚖️ Work/life balance comes up a lot in therapy sessions.

But honestly, I think for many people it’s less about balance and more about separation.

So many of us are always reachable now 📱
Emails on our phones, messages in the evening, working from the sofa, thinking about tomorrow before today has even finished.

When there’s no clear boundary between work and home, the brain never fully switches off either.

One thing I’ve found really helpful personally is creating small rituals that signal to my brain that the working day is over 🧠✨

I work from home, so I have to be quite intentional with boundaries.

Changing out of my work clothes and into my comfies genuinely helps 🛋️
Sometimes I’ll even say to myself: “the business is closed.” 🚪

It sounds simple, but those little signals matter.

A few other things that can help👇

• Have a set finish time for work and stick to it ⏰
• Delete your work email app from your phone 📵
• Stop checking “one last thing” before bed 🌙
• Create a small end-of-day ritual — a walk, a shower, making a tea, lighting a candle ☕🚶‍♀️🕯️
• Give yourself permission to rest without feeling guilty ❤️

Rest isn’t a reward you have to earn after exhaustion.
It’s something your nervous system needs regularly.

Boundaries aren’t selfish. They’re necessary 🤍

If you would like a little help with setting work boundaries feel free to contact me.

Quitting smoking or va**ng isn’t just about willpower.

Most people already want to stop — but still find themselves reaching for it without really thinking. That’s because ni****ne addiction isn’t just a habit, it’s a learned pattern in the brain.

Over time, your mind builds “templates” that link certain moments stress, breaks, emotions with smoking or va**ng. So even when you consciously want to quit, your brain is still running those automatic responses.

Hypnotherapy helps you understand what’s really driving the behaviour and works with your subconscious to gently change those patterns. Using simple neuroscience-based techniques, it can reduce cravings, break old associations, and support you in responding differently.

When those patterns shift, stopping starts to feel much easier and more natural.

If you’re ready to make a real change, I’m here to help. You can also read my blog for more information on how I support clients in this area.
