Why does your tattoo look lighter once it’s healed?🤷‍♀️

As you can see in the photo, the healed tattoo is lighter than it was straight after the appointment.

That’s completely normal! Fresh tattoos look darker because your skin is irritated and slightly red, making the tones appear deeper than they really are. As your skin heals, the true healed result is revealed. ✨
In this particular example, my client, Liam, has very fair skin, so he does go very red!

For me, it’s not just about giving you a great tattoo —it’s about giving you a tattoo THAT LASTS! 🤍❤️
