Sooooo I’ve been working on a few new things behind the scenes recently and here’s the first one!

✨ They’re HERE! My brand new nutritional support plans are officially live — and I am SO excited to share these with you! 🎉

These have been a long time in the making, and I genuinely believe they’re some of the most practical, evidence-based resources I’ve ever put together.

Three plans, each designed to support a different area of your health:

🌸 Hormone Balancing — for when your cycle feels anything but balanced
🧠 Mood Nourishment — because what you eat directly shapes how you feel
🌿 Gut Health — the foundation everything else builds on

Each plan includes meal plans, recipe cards, a shopping list, batch prep guides, and mood/food science — all created by me, an accredited nutritionist and pharmacist, so you’re getting clinical expertise alongside real, delicious food.

Just £24.99 and yours to download instantly. No waiting, no appointments — just the tools to start feeling better, today. 💛

Vegetarian versions will be added in the next few weeks!

The link is in my bio → higherhealthcare.co.uk/healthpackages

Drop a 🌸 below if hormones, a 🧠 for mood, or a 🌿 for gut health — I’d love to know which one calls to you!

I LOVE kohlrabi and this refreshing minty salad is a super easy way to enjoy this liver friendly vegetable!

METHOD
Serves 2

Peel and coarsely grate the kohlrabi. Place in a large bowl with the baby spinach.

Whisk together the dressing ingredients. Toss through the kohlrabi and spinach.

Top with sliced radishes, chopped pecans and torn fresh mint. Season well.

Finish with an extra crack of black pepper and serve immediately.

✦ WHY THIS WORKS FOR YOUR HORMONES

Kohlrabi is rich in glucosinolates that support liver detoxification of excess oestrogen. Pecans provide zinc for progesterone production, while radishes add a liver-loving bitter note.

Q&A from our last workshop

Although low nutrient status isn’t the direct cause of PMDD, ensuring optimum levels can go a long way towards improving your symptoms.

I always advise checking baseline levels as a first step. Then supplementing for support, especially in the last 2 weeks of your cycle when hormone levels begin to fall.

Make sure your GP has done these basic blood tests and INSIST if not.

Always check with your GP or pharmacist before supplementing.

If you’ve been feeling like you’re on a ride you didn’t choose — track your symptoms, advocate for yourself, and find a provider who actually listens.

Save this if your hormones have you screaming too 💛

You’re not alone. You’re just in your rollercoaster era.

This was one of the questions raised during Q&A at my most recent workshop so thought I would share as it’s such a great question!

Oestrogen levels do indeed decline during perimenopause but less commonly known is that progesterone levels fall first and oestrogen levels can still spike or fall at some points of our cycle.

I like to think of progesterone as the calming hormone (think sleep, improved moods and period regulation) and oestrogen as the building hormone (think bone, muscle, appetite suppressant, brain & heart protection)

So if progesterone falls and oestrogen is all over the place then it turns into a bit of a rollercoaster - anyone else know that feeling? 🙋🏻‍♀️

Thank you to those that joined us - we covered so much on hormone health, liver health, gut health, supplements and much more! And the snack went down well 😉 Our workshops will be taking a break over the summer period and will return in the Autumn.

Grateful to and for holding space with me, bringing your calming vibes and deeply relaxing sounds ✨💜

Supporting the liver is one of the very first things I advise my patients whether it’s PMS, PCOS, low moods or menopause. Because there’s no point throwing supplements in on top of an already overloaded liver - it doesn’t need more to do!

Sometimes less is more and it’s not necessarily about a ‘detox diet’

It’s more about what you’re not eating

Fortunately I now have the knowledge and tools to help support me on my hormone journey. Now going through perimenopause, I am using only supplements and food to optimise my hormone balance. And I feel great!

I would love to share this knowledge to help others so have teamed up with to offer our Hormone Balance & Yoga Workshop 9th May
