Last week at Cooking Club, we had a fantastic time making delicious sausage rolls with ratatouille for lunch, and they went down a treat! 😋🥐🍅

The fun continued throughout the day with some lovely morning crafts 🎨✂️, followed by a few lively games of Jenga with everyone 🧱😄

Graham had a lovely morning down by the harbour today the other week 🌊⚓

He really enjoyed visiting the aquarium and especially loved seeing the sharks! 🦈🐠

The other week at club, we talked about mental health and how important it is to seek help when we are struggling.

We spent time colouring in positive images and made green mental health awareness hearts with the words “My mental health matters” around them.

Afterwards, we enjoyed making and sharing pizza together. A lovely session with an important message. 💚🍕

Graham enjoyed a lovely lunch out the other day before heading off to do a bit of shopping with his support staff.

It was a great opportunity to spend time in the community, make choices, and enjoy a relaxed day out. 😊

The other week, Lewis and his support staff took a trip to Birmingham. Although he felt a little nervous at first, he was also very excited for the day ahead.

Lewis took the lead in making all the decisions, from checking bus and train times to choosing the walking routes and deciding which shops he wanted to visit. This was a great opportunity to help build his confidence so that, in the future, he can make this trip independently.

What a fantastic day we’ve had! 😄

At Friday Club, we enjoyed another science experiment and made bubble snakes 🫧

Everyone had a great time getting involved, trying something different, and having fun with the bubble wands too 😊

Stephen and Roger decided to visit Bath the other week and make the most of the lovely weather 🌞

They enjoyed a day out exploring the city, taking in the surroundings, and spending time in the fresh air 🏛️🌿

It was great to see them choosing how they wanted to spend their day and enjoying the opportunity to get out into the community 😊

The Lord Mayor visited Barton Hill Café yesterday, where he met Paolo and the rest of the fantastic volunteers 😊☕️

He congratulated them on their amazing work and the positive difference they continue to make in the local community 🌟🤝

Susan was full of smiles last week 😊🌞

She did incredibly well walking all the way around the lake, taking in the fresh air, enjoying the views🚶‍♀️🌿
