We started Truth Fertility because fertility care needs more honesty. 💛

Many of our patients come to us having already spent months, sometimes years, being reassured that everything looks ‘normal’. That they just needed to keep trying.

We believe you deserve to understand what’s actually happening. We’re not here to offer false hope or unrealistic guarantees, but we are here to investigate, interpret, and support you with care and expertise.

Our founder Verity Allen has over a decade of clinical experience supporting people through natural conception, IVF, recurrent miscarriage, and complex fertility challenges. Patients tell us they finally feel believed.

That’s what we’re here for.

We work with a lot of people. Here’s how we think about it. 🤝

Truth Fertility isn’t a funnel to one service or one consultant. Our role is to help you understand your fertility picture, and then to connect you with whichever pathway is most appropriate for you.

Our current clinical partners include:

🔬 Examen: s***m DNA fragmentation testing
🦠 Daye: vaginal microbiome testing
👩‍⚕️ Dr Irfana Koita / IVF Matters: karyotyping & ovulation induction
🩸 Dr Henry Murdoch / Gloucestershire Iron Clinic: iron infusion therapy
🫀 Dr Georgina Conway / The Thyroid Clinic: thyroid and HRT specialist
🧪 Various specialist labs: blood testing

Every person who comes to us has a different story. We’re here to help you make sense of it, and to make sure you get the right support, not just the nearest option.

Have you heard of a balanced translocation? Most people haven’t, and that’s part of the problem. 🧬

A balanced translocation is a chromosomal rearrangement that a person carries without usually knowing. It can sit entirely undetected through routine fertility investigations, yet it can be a significant factor in unexplained infertility, recurrent IVF failure, or repeated miscarriage.

In many European and US fertility clinics, karyotype testing is standard. In the UK, it’s usually only offered after multiple failures. We think that needs to change.

Working with Dr Irfana Koita at Matters, we offer karyotype testing earlier in the fertility journey; a simple blood test for you and your partner that could provide answers other tests have missed.

Something important is changing in fertility care, and we want to talk about it. 💬

Many GPs are quietly stepping back from offering ovulation induction. For women who need this support, that gap is becoming harder to navigate.

We’re now offering access to ovulation induction through our affiliated fertility consultant, Dr Irfana Koita at Prescribing comes from Dr Koita, scans are facilitated through a trusted scanning centre, and we focus on what we do best: fertility optimisation beforehand.

We want to be clear about something: Truth Fertility works with a range of trusted clinical partners, and we always direct patients to whichever service or specialist is most appropriate for them. This is one pathway, by no means the only one.

If ovulation induction is something you’ve been looking for support with, we’d encourage you to get in touch.

Male fertility contributes to around half of all fertility challenges. Half!

Yet the conversation, and the testing, so often stays focused on women. It’s a lot to bear and it’s only natural that it can sometimes divide couples.

At Truth Fertility, male fertility is a core part of what we do. Not as an afterthought, but as an equal half of the equation. Our most-visited pages are our male fertility and s***m DNA fragmentation pages - because men are looking for this information, even if the wider healthcare system hasn’t always made it easy to find.

We offer:
🔬 S***m DNA fragmentation testing
🧪 Semen analysis
💉 Acupuncture for s***m health
📋 Personalised lifestyle and supplement guidance

If you’re on a fertility journey and the male side hasn’t been fully investigated, it’s worth exploring.

S***m DNA fragmentation testing is now available on dedicated testing days.
We’re running monthly sessions in two locations:

📍 Bristol - every third Monday
📍 Frome - every second Friday

Testing is done through , one of the UK’s leading s***m DNA analysis labs, and includes a full report and clinical interpretation with one of our practitioners.

This isn’t a test your GP or Consultant will typically offer. But it’s one that can meaningfully change the picture - especially where IVF has failed, or where conception is taking longer than expected.

If you’re based in Bristol, Frome, or nearby, or if you’re happy to travel, DM us or tap the link in bio to find out more.

For the men (and for the partners who forward posts on their behalf…)

We’ve now published our s***m DNA fragmentation audit - real-world data from our own patients who had repeat testing with us.

Here’s what we found across 8 paired cases:

✅ 75% of men showed a reduction in DNA fragmentation on repeat testing
✅ Average improvement: 6.5 percentage points
✅ Acupuncture group: 80% improved, with an average reduction of 7.4 points
✅ Lifestyle & supplement group: 67% improved

These are small numbers and we’re not making grand claims, but the direction is consistent, and the patterns are encouraging.

S***m DNA quality matters. It affects fertilisation, embryo development, and miscarriage risk - yet it’s rarely tested on the NHS.

👉 Our full audit data is now live - see our link in bio to read the breakdown.

Something we’ll be sharing more about soon.

A 2025 Danish study followed 292 women with infertility and low ferritin (below 30) who received iron infusions. 51% went on to carry to term.

That’s a significant finding - and it’s part of why we’re now working with Dr Henry Murdoch of the to offer a pathway to iron infusion therapy for patients where oral supplementation hasn’t been effective or isn’t tolerated.

The route is straightforward: we test, we interpret, and where iron infusion is appropriate, we refer. No guesswork. No being passed from pillar to post.

If you’ve been struggling with low iron alongside fertility challenges, we’d love to hear from you.

“Your blood tests are ‘normal’.” 🩸

But are they, really?

Standard NHS testing often only checks haemoglobin, which means iron deficiency can go undetected long before anaemia ever develops. Ferritin can be low. Transferrin saturation is rarely measured. And you’re left feeling exhausted, foggy, and unheard.

Iron plays a direct role in ovulation, endometrial function, and early implantation. Yet it’s one of the most consistently overlooked pieces of the fertility picture.

At Truth Fertility, we offer a full iron panel: ferritin, serum iron, TIBC, transferrin saturation, and full blood count - to give you a genuinely complete picture of your iron status, not just a tick-box result.

If you’ve been told everything looks fine but something still doesn’t feel right, this might be worth exploring.
