Do you work with pressure care mattresses as a healthcare professional, equipment provider or manufacturer?

We would like to invite you to complete their short Pressure Mattress Evaluation Questionnaire.

Your feedback will help improve understanding around the selection of pressure care solutions by supporting the development of a more holistic assessment framework.

As a thank you for completing the questionnaire, you'll receive:
• A quality BES Healthcare pen
• An exclusive "CHOOSE NEST" T-shirt (FOC in the post)
• The opportunity to trial a NEST mattress within your service free of charge

The questionnaire takes just a few minutes to complete, and your feedback will be invaluable.

The purpose of this questionnaire is to explore how healthcare professionals prioritise different factors when evaluating pressure mattresses, supporting the development of a more holistic assessment framework.

Check out the latest episode of Wheel Chat on Youtube, Apple and Spotify, where BES director and co-founder Dr Barend ter Haar discusses: Why Wheelchair Belts Should Not Be Mounted Like Car Seatbelts.

This episode answers a deceptively simple clinical question: how do we use standards to make better wheelchair seating decisions, especially when the common default is not necessarily the best clinical option?

The practical takeaways are clear: wheelchair belts are positioning devices, not car seatbelts; cushion choice should consider tissue viability, positioning and function; and pressure injury prevention is far easier than treatment.
