At 3 Trees, one of the questions we like to ask during interviews is: *“If you could share one quote or message with the world, what would it be?”*
Our latest interviewee shared:
“Live today like there is no tomorrow.”
A simple message, but one that encourages us to make the most of the present.
It’s easy to become caught up in what happened yesterday or what might happen tomorrow. This quote reminds us to appreciate the people around us, embrace opportunities, find enjoyment in the everyday, and make the moments we have count.
In social care, that sentiment has particular meaning. Quality of life is about more than meeting needs, it is about supporting people to experience choice, connection, enjoyment and purpose. Sometimes that means trying something new; sometimes it means pursuing a goal; and sometimes it is simply sharing a laugh and enjoying the moment.
Life is happening 'now' so make today count. 💙
If today was the only day that mattered, what would you make time for?
And if you could share one message with the world, what would it be?
