Wild Dandelion CIC

Wild Dandelion CIC At Wild Dandelion, we advocate and promote the individual and collective growth possible within the supporting embrace of community. Welcome to Wild Dandelion!

We are a community of individuals embarking on a journey guided and inspired by the principles of anthroposophy and spiritual intention. Rooted in a deep understanding of and curiosity about humanity's interconnectedness with the world and each other, our ethos is centred on fostering well-being, education and spiritual development within the helping professions and the individuals and communities

they support. At Wild Dandelion, we believe in the transformative power of therapeutic activities, not only for individuals but also for the communities they serve. Our approach is holistic, recognising that true healing encompasses the physical, emotional, and spiritual expressions of being. Through our diverse range of activities we aim to support individuals in their personal growth and professional development. Central to our vision is the cultivation of a vibrant community where practitioners, educators and communities can come together to share and exchange knowledge, experience learning and healing and foster inspiration for growth and development. We recognise the importance of collaboration and mutual support in promoting a culture of care and compassion. Through educational workshops, trainings, therapeutic and cultural activities we strive to create spaces, activities and relationships that nourish the mind, body, soul and spirit. Join us on this journey as we work together to create spaces where well-being is accessible to all and where the healing professions are honoured, prized and celebrated for their vital role in fostering a healthier, more harmonious society.

Kerry McCarthy, MP for Bristol East, dropped by last week to meet our Directors Fran & Rosie and hear more about Wild Dandelion and our plans for 63 Barton Hill Rd.

19/06/2026

It was a pleasure to meet with Wild Dandelion in Barton Hill last week to learn about their plans to create a new community space at what was formerly known as The Dugout on Barton Hill Road.

The Wild Dandelion are a new CIC aiming to provide wellbeing services, therapy and education, to support practitioners and the wider community. It was interesting to learn more about their journey and what they hope to achieve. I expressed my support for their work, but also flagged the need to link up the many related initiatives going on across Barton Hill, so as to avoid duplication, maximise the use of community space, and make limited resources stretch further.

Presently the CIC are looking to engage with local residents and other community groups about how they can best support Barton Hill at the Dugout. They’d love to hear from you!

Some photos from our Public Consultation event last month when we invited the wider community to come and meet us and Barefoot Architects and see our plans for 63 Barton Hill Rd (aka the Dugout, or Barton Hill Boxing Gym). Some attendees brought an absolute wealth of local history knowledge and anecdotes about the building and the area which was a real joy.

If you missed it, the plans can still be viewed on our website and you can complete the questionnaire there too - ALL feedback is very welcome, please share your thoughts!

The wonderful Linsey joined the Wild Dandelion team recently, and today we celebrate her!

Rosie writes:

"For those who are lucky enough to know Linsey, you will be very familiar with the warmth, wisdom, creativity and limitless compassion that surrounds her and that she brings to every space she enters. Whether supporting our students, her colleagues, her clients or friends, Linsey has a remarkable gift for helping people feel truly seen and met; she holds space for others with authenticity, grace and heart.

As a dance movement psychotherapist, IFS practitioner, teacher, tutor and clinical supervisor, Linsey has tirelessly championed creativity, embodiment and the core belief that growth, healing and transformation happens when we are welcomed to be our whole, fullest selves. Her dedication to spirit-led, soulful practice is what draws people to her and brings such rich meaning and depth to her work. ReLight, and now Wild Dandelion, simply would not be what they are without her dedication, passion and commitment to the steady flame she brings to all that she does. Personally, I have been privileged enough to be friends with Linsey for 20+ years and she has been an inspiration, a support, a critical friend and a soul sister in my life. I cannot fathom a world without her and mine is infinitely enriched by her being in it. She is a true treasure of a human being in every sense of the word.

Wishing you a wonderful birthday, Linsey, and an exciting new decade ahead. May it be filled with joy, adventure, deep nourishment and all the things that keep your fire burning. We love you and are truly grateful for all that you are. xx

We recently hosted a public consultation to share some of our plans for the building formerly known as the Dugout at 63 Barton Hill Rd. Thanks to all who attended and completed our feedback questionnaire!

We realise not everyone could attend and wanted to open up the opportunity for as many of the local community as possible to share thoughts, so the plans and questionnaire are now available on our website (link in the comments)

All feedback is welcomed 🙏

A Shared Announcement: Welcoming Relight into Wild Dandelion

We’re delighted to share an important step in the ongoing growth and development of Wild Dandelion.

Over the past year, a close relationship has been deepening between  and

What began seven years ago as a shared vision, rooted in the values and creative partnership of Relight’s co-founder and Creative Director Linsey and Wild Dandelion’s founder and Executive Director Rosie, this collaboration has now found a more grounded form, shaped by similar values and overlapping practices.

We are delighted to be strengthening that vision by bringing Relight into the Wild Dandelion family, commencing Relight’s next chapter as the Educational Arm of Wild Dandelion.

Relight’s Creative Clinical Supervision Training (accredited by ADMP-UK and recognised by UKCP) continues to gain momentum, as practitioners across the country recognise the need to learn, develop and practise from a creative, humanistic and spiritually-informed perspective. As part of Wild Dandelion, Relight will be able to expand this value-based approach to personal and professional development, growing their CPD offer and extending their reach while remaining unapologetic in acknowledging the soulful and embodied elements of practice, where creativity and the person-centred approach are united.

We are gaining not only a well-established and respected learning provision but also a richness of experience, clarity of vision and depth of practice that will continue to shape how we grow. In turn, Relight can be held within a wider organisational system that can support its development and sustainability.

Together, this allows us to more fully embody what we care about: a holistic approach to human development, where personal growth, professional training and community engagement are part of the same system, continuing to weave together creativity, spirituality and practice.

We can’t wait to welcome you to one of our CPD events.

Let us bless the air,
Benefactor of breath,
Keeper of the fragile bridge
We breathe across.

Air waiting outside
The womb, to funnel
A first breath
That lets us begin

To be here,
Each moment
Drawn from
Its invisible stop.

Air: vast neighborhood
Of the invisible, where thought lives,
Entering, to arise in us as our own,
Enabling us to put faces on things
That would otherwise stay strange
And leave us homeless here.

Air, home of memory where
Our vanished days secretly gather,
Receiving every glance, word, and act
That fall from presence,
Taking all our unfolding in,
So that nothing is lost or forgotten.

Air: reservoir of the future
Out of which our days flow,
Ferrying their shadowed nights,
The invisible generosity,
That brings us future friends
And sometimes stones of sorrow
On which our minds refine.

Air along whose unseen path
Presence builds its quiet procession;
Sometimes in waves of sound,
Voices that can persuade
Every door of the heart;
Often in tides of music
That absolve the cut of time.

Air: source of breath
That enables flowers to flourish,
And calls the dark, rooted trees
To ascend into blossom.

Air, perfect emptiness
For the minds of birds
To map with vanishings;
Womb of forms
That shapes embraces
to hold animal presence.

Air makes the distance kind,
Opening pathways for the eye
To reach the affections of things,
Yet never lets its invisible geography
Come anywhere near thought
Or the voyage-edges of the eye.

Air: kingdom of spirit
Where our departed dwell,
Nearer to us than ever,
Where the gods preside.

Let us bless the invigoration
Of clean, free air.

The gentleness of air
That holds and slows the rain,
Lets it fall down.

The shyness of air
That never shows its face.

The force of air
In wall after wall
Of straining wind.

In the name of the air,
The breeze,
And the wind,
May our souls
Stay in rhythm
With eternal
Breath.
