Let’s talk about … WOW! 🎉

There’s nothing quite like talking about simulation with the people who live and breathe it every day. We’re always inspired by the questions they ask and the knowledge they bring to the conversation.

But Sim Tech Symposium was something extra special… and their awards evening gave us the opportunity to celebrate THEM and recognise the talent that keeps our industry moving forwards.

🏆 A huge congratulations to every winner and nominee from the night. It was fantastic to see the Sim Tech community getting the recognition it deserves. We’re proud to have been part of it.

We recently introduced Maya, our new labor and birthing simulator, to the team at Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston – and they were quick to see the training possibilities.

One thing that stood out most was Maya’s simple & intuitive design. The team were excited to see how easy Maya was to use, and how presetting and saving scenarios could help Sim Techs spend less time setting up.

And when we mentioned Maya could also be used alongside a standardized patient, the reaction was pretty clear… 📸😁

To mark Cycle to Work Day, we invited some of our cycling enthusiasts at Limbs & Things to share photos of themselves out on their bikes! 🚴

Whether they're commuting, exploring new routes at the weekend or simply enjoying time outdoors, cycling is a great way to stay active while reducing your environmental impact.

It's great to see so many of our colleagues out on their bikes! Thanks to everyone who shared their photos with us.

With Maya, postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) can be practiced as part of a birth or in the stand-alone PPH mode.

In the PPH mode, practice fundal massage with a handy graphic to show the uterus changing from atonic to contracted.

Or run a full PPH. Control the rate & flow of blood, onset time, and select an intervention that will stop the flow from fundal massage or retained placenta removal.

All blood is retained in Maya's Clean Bleed Mat for mess free practice which also allows you to practice quantitative blood loss.

Teach the stages of labor with Maya’s ‘Vaginal Examination’ mode.

Designed with exceptional haptic realism, Maya enables learners to recognize labor progression through assessing cervical dilation and fetal station. Build confident clinical decision-making and identify when intervention may be required.

The dynamic cervix supports seamless progression of dilation from 4-10cm to maintain a highly immersive training experience.

Configure key settings for learning across stages:
⭐ Switch between four presentations: flexed, deflexed, indifferent, breech
⭐ Simulate dilation from 4-10 cm
⭐ Rotate 360° fetal positioning

You lead the learning. Maya manages the rest.
