Allowing yourself to be fallible and human,
Letting discomfort hang around for a while,
Questioning the origins of your beliefs,
Letting go of old patterns,
Building a different narrative,
And becoming comfortable in your own skin.

That’s where the good stuff is.

Discomfort makes the brain grow fonder, or something.

Waiting to feel ready and in control tends to leave us stuck where we are.

You need to be able to prove to your nervous system that, for example, being in front of a mirror, is not a threat to your safety.

The more you give your body the signal that it IS unsafe, the more it will reinforce your reactions to hide or avoid.

Thankful that, these days, I can’t bring myself to care enough about any of this. I’m bored of caring so much. So, yeah.
