✨ ARiRA Live Model Course: 1,2 May 2026 — A Huge Success ✨

Delighted to share the success of the ARiRA Live Model Interactive Regional Anaesthesia Course held at George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton.

We were privileged to welcome delegates from across the UK, Europe and Latin America, creating a truly international and collaborative learning environment.

The course combined:
• Live model ultrasound scanning
• Sonoanatomy recognition
• Probe optimisation and image interpretation
• Phantom needling practice
• Needle planning and safe injection strategy
• Small-group hands-on learning with a 1:2 faculty-to-delegate ratio

A huge thank you to our expert faculty, enthusiastic delegates, live ultrasound model volunteers and organising team for making the course such an engaging and high-quality educational experience.

The ARiRA cadaver course has come to a close, and it was a genuinely memorable day.

We welcomed 40 delegates who travelled from all corners of the UK, making this a truly national course in every sense. The room brought together clinicians at different stages of their careers, all united by the same goal: to refine their regional anaesthesia skills through high-quality, hands-on learning.

Our faculty represented multiple UK hospitals, creating a rich teaching environment with diverse perspectives and practical insights. The low delegate-to-faculty ratio meant there was ample time for supervised ultrasound scanning and needle practice, allowing every participant to engage fully and gain confidence at their own pace.

Learning did not stop at the end of the day. Delegates leave with twelve months’ access to ARiRA for continued revision and skill refreshing, alongside access to the EDRA MCQ bank to support ongoing exam preparation.

Most importantly, the atmosphere was outstanding. The energy in the cadaver lab, the level of engagement, and the feedback we received all reflected how much the day was enjoyed.
