We thought it about time we introduce some of our ambassadors at Eastville Park 5KYW, stay tuned over the coming months to meet the whole crew!
First up meet Alex!
“Hi my name is Alex, I am an oncology doctor based in Bristol where I live with my husband, baby boy and busy Spaniel!
I have enjoyed sport my whole life and love spending as much time outside as possible with my family and friends. I have seen first hand the benefits exercise, community and fresh air can have on peoples physical and mental wellbeing during and after their cancer journey and I joined the ambassador team at Eastville Park to continue to help spread this important message.
Some weeks I walk, some weeks I run and some weeks I come and watch and cheer. It’s always so fabulous to see so many people enjoying parkrun and I love seeing new faces join us at Eastville Park 5KYW. I’m always happy to accompany people on their loops if they want a Saturday morning chat.
Were a friendly bunch from all walks of life, don’t be shy to come and say hi!”g
