💚 This stunning Imperial Diopside has quickly become one of my favourite gemstones. Its rich green colour rivals emerald, but it’s mined in Siberia and is becoming increasingly difficult to source in high quality.
❄️ Being originally from Siberia myself, I’ve always felt a connection to this stone, so it felt extra special getting to place it in a flat piercing for one of my regular clients Lexi.
🍃The deep green paired with solid gold is a combination neither of us can resist, and it works perfectly alongside the gold Kalo leaf

As a lifelong gemstone magpie 🐦‍⬛ I love bringing unusual and rarer stones into the studio whenever I can 💎
Pieces like this don’t come around often, and once they’re gone, they’re usually GONE
But hopefully I’ll be able to track down more treasures like this in the future ✨

Both flat piercings are 1 month old and downsized 💗

🤨🤨🤨 I know a lot of people just want a tiny hoop in a fresh piercing, but please don’t think your piercer is being mean when we say no.

Yes, not everyone pierced with a hoop will get an irritation bump…but the risk of problematic healing is SO much higher, especially with thin, tight rings.

And when it’s on your face, prolonged irritation can sometimes leave permanent scarring, even after jewellery removal.

We’re not trying to ruin your vision, we’re trying to help your piercing heal properly long term. Please trust your piercer 🤍
