Louise's Story:

I’ve been volunteering for The Cinnamon Trust for the past year, and it has been such a rewarding experience! This wonderful charity helps older people who can no longer walk their dogs, and I have the pleasure of walking the gorgeous Sami. 🐕

I absolutely love dogs, and taking Sami for walks not only keeps me fit but also brings me so much joy. Sami is a big fan of treats and cuddles!

The Cinnamon Trust is always looking for more volunteers, so if you love dogs and want to make a difference, consider joining us! 🐾❤️

Martin's story

Volunteering at the Great Western Air Ambulance charity shop has been a real pleasure for me! I've made new friends and truly believe it's important to give something back to the community. After 25 years of working at John Lewis & Partners , I was rewarded with six months of paid leave, and I didn’t want to waste that time. That's when I started volunteering. Even after returning to work, I continued to volunteer, and it’s been three years now!

The shops manager has shared that customers absolutely adore Martin's bubbly personality and warm welcome, making him a fantastic addition to their team! Keep up the wonderful work, Martin! 🌟❤️

Connor's Story:

Volunteering at Avon Valley Railway Official is one of my favourite things to do! Every Wednesday, I hoover and clean the windows on a seven-carriage long train. I love it when they move the carriages around using the steam train—it's so exciting to watch!

I really enjoy my time there, and it feels even more special now that I have my own name badge and hi-vis jacket. It makes me proud to be part of the team! 🚂✨
