This Sepsis Awareness Month, we're encouraging everyone to learn the signs and symptoms of sepsis. Recognising sepsis early and getting medical help quickly can save lives.

Sepsis is a life-threatening medical emergency that requires urgent treatment.

Symptoms include:

• Slurred speech or confusion
• Extreme shivering or muscle pain
• Passing no urine (in a day)
• Severe breathlessness
• It feels like you’re going to die
• Skin mottled or discoloured

Don't ignore the signs. Trust your instincts and seek urgent medical help if you think you or someone you know may have sepsis.

ELECTRONIC PRESCRIBING SERVICE

Prescriptions can be ordered:
•Via the NHS App
•In writing to the surgery on either a repeat slip or paper noting your name, DOB, address and items required
• via email to the prescribing team at [email protected]

Please allow 48 hours from ordering for the surgery to process your request

You will still need to allow up to 7 days for the pharmacy to prepare your prescription ready for collection
