We are proud to have partnered with Clothes Doctor to create a global lifestyle brand that inspires people to love the clothes they own. By focusing on garment care and tackling fashion pollution and waste, Clothes Doctor encourages us to care for what we have, rather than buying new. 🌍💚

The Brief: To strike the perfect balance between premium and accessible, simple yet impactful.

Our Solution: Clean, crisp fonts in black on white, paired with soft pastel shades, and unique geometric symbols (based on a 3x3 grid of dots) to enhance communication, differentiation, and navigation.

Available online and in Harrods, our designs are helping Clothes Doctor build a distinctive visual language across e-commerce, social media, and marketing materials. 💫🧴🌼

For the love of food🧑🏼‍🍳🥘

The new direction is human-first, foresight-led and reframes the role of herbs and spices from mere supporting actors to catalysts of delightful taste expressions rooted in regionality and culture. It also recognises the passion for the cooking process itself, which is where the pleasure starts for discerning cooks.

 Following a robust strategic phase of work, we developed a brand proposition “For The Love Of Food”, developing creative concepts that would emphasise the romance and delight of herbs and spices, and tapping into the regional cuisines with which each ingredient is associated.

Initially producing designs for Bart’s range of world cuisine-inspired spice blends, the concept has been carried across the range of over 100 products, encompassing A-Z herbs and spices, chopped, pastes, salts, peppers, and seasonings.

Whilst 2022 has been another unpredictable year, we’re fortunate to have experienced many highs along the way. We’ve loved working with our clients on their exciting rebrands, new product launches and campaigns and we can’t wait to share more of our projects with you next year.

Following the development of our Be a Pet Detective campaign for Protexin Veterinary, we were asked to design their exhibition stand for The London Vet Show 2022. When it comes to creating a branded exhibition stand, it’s important to consider how the finished result will attract visitors into the space to maximise return on investment.

Wanting something that didn’t feel like a typical show stand, we hit upon the idea of a destination, a sanctuary where people could come and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the show. Most people, particularly dog owners, will take a trip to the local park to get away from it all, so we decided to bring the park to London’s busy ExCeL London. That’s how our stand Park Life was born.

The show was a huge success for the Protexin team and our Park Life stand helped to generate a huge 650% increase on leads captured vs. last year.

We all need a hero from time to time, brands especially. But we’re not talking about someone in Lycra and a cape, we’re talking about a product or group of products within a larger portfolio that acts as an easy entry point to a brand. Hero Products!

But why are Hero Products important?
A hero product is often the brand’s best seller, but it is also often the one product that defines the brand as a whole. Think Porsche 911, Levi’s 501, Apple iPhone. Not only are these products the most recognisable items in the brand’s portfolios, they also imbue each brand with a reason for being in the mind of a consumer. They exist to be the spokesperson for the brand, to instantly communicate all of the brand’s key messages and values to its audiences.

Concorde became the ‘hero’ of British Airways. It cast a halo over the whole airline, creating immediate associations with luxury, glamour, style, innovation, and a healthy dollop of sexiness. What’s your brand’s Concorde product?

If you’ve got an existing portfolio of products, choose a hero from your range. If you’re starting a brand from scratch, consider launching with just one product that fulfills a specific consumer need. You can then focus a good proportion of your marketing spend on that one product and create a memorable brand, rather than diluting focus across a range which could confuse the consumer and diminish brand understanding.

We recently helped dairy-free cheese brand Sheese create five hero products to give consumers an easy entry point to the brand. Through new product naming and additional recipe photography, the packaging instantly communicates what each product is ideal for, whilst drawing consumers into the fixture. The new range not only makes it easier for consumers to understand how the brand fits into their lives, but it also helps to sell into retail by giving buyers a simple product portfolio with a key point of difference.

Try it. You might find your hero will save the day.
