Today marks International Harm Reduction Day, a day to recognise the approach to drug use that is grounded in autonomy, respect, justice and human rights.

👉 Harm reduction grew out of communities where treatment options were seen to be inaccessible and weren’t meeting people where they were at.

👉 Today, harm reduction services exist as well-evidenced interventions, to support people who use drugs.

How can you put harm reduction into practice?

👉 Carry naloxone
👉 Look after your friends
👉 Review your language and challenge stigma

🎉 Good news! We have a brand new service just for you! 🎉

As part of UoB's Harm Reduction approach, we'll be based up at the uni every Thursday to give out drug and alcohol advice and FREE reagent testing kits so you can test your drugs at home.
